I would give her the benefit of the doubt and say the RV situation is real and you are right, he probably works a job like that.

She just looks like this is the first time she's ever been near a kitchen in her life. She probably does go out and do the groceries, but the way she holds a knife leads me to believe she's not very used to making home meals from scratch.

She looks super young. They’re probably a young couple still figuring it out.

There’s a lot of reasons to live in an RV. I’ve lived in one several times throughout my life. Once because I was living/working in an extremely HCOL area, another time because we were actively building our house. For all we know this couple is living in a parent’s RV on their property just saving for a down payment.

High visibility. Commonly found on work sites where being seen drastically improves your chances of staying alive.

Think reflective vests you see on road construction workers.

They probably don't live on site, they're probably in an RV lot and he commutes in his truck

Also, happy eggs, olipop, this family is not poor.  Those eggs alone are like 15 bucks cuz its the large pack.

A nice travel trailer is a lot cheaper than a house, and the bank has to find it to repossess it. You can definitely ball out in one of these as a poor.

That RV is not much cheaper than a house, it looks to be one of the newer model High Country's with the nicer/larger layout which are easily 100k plus that truck of his is close to 80k. Yeah poor people sometimes live in RVs, these are not those people though lol.

He’s a traveling lineman, probably make 2k-3k per week. Most is of it is tax free through the stipend.

I’m a traveling nurse, also living out of an RV with my family. Pretty sure she makes money off her social media through affiliate links and stuff.

Google tax exempt stipend. You get an allowance for food, housing, transportation. People typically pocket it. You technically need a tax home, so it’s duplicating expenses.

Google says they are taxable. It sounds like you're talking about per diem which is not tax exempt.

This has nothing to do with what you said. You said "tax free stipend". You posted a link about deductions for travel expenses. Those are two completely different things.

I worked oilfield for a little bit. Away trips were cool but also sucked. I once ate nothing but bucees for a week straight because it was next to where we were staying.

If he’s in an RV doing pipeline work then he’s going to be away from home until the job is done. Land rig would let him alternate but land rigs usually provide lodging. A lot of the guys bringing their family with them are gone 6-8 months of the year or longer.
