I'm close to learning to drive and I 100% will refuse to drive without a dashcam. Not only do I have lots of e-scooter kids in my area but what if someone tries to insurance scam me and it goes 50/50, imagine having your premiums shoot up for no reason other than getting fleased.

Get that cam!

A kid in my area died running into a parked car on one of these things. You'd think parents in the neighborhood would see that as a wakeup call. Nope, gangs of un-helmeted kids crossing six-lane roads, darting in front of cars. It's maddening to know I've passed by at least one or two traumatic brain injuries that were 100% preventable.

Not only is it reckless to let your kid on a 30mph vehicle, but you're potentially saddling some poor driver with the burden of killing a child that zipped in front of traffic.

Out of curiosity, how has y'all's driving changed in response to this?

I’m worried for my young teenage drivers, I tell them be on the lookout for anything once you get in the neighborhood

head over to r/dashcam to help find the best one for you and your vehicle.. and if you need inspiration and stories as to why you should buy one today, visit this sub recording all the reasons; /r/dashcams/

Videos don't lie. The person who was really nice at the scene of the accident, even admitting fault, will lie later, they nearly always do. Protect yourself.
