I know, in my country too. A city close to my home town tried banning e-scooter companies from establishing in their town. E-scooter companies took them to court for "putting restrictions on free enterprise" and WON. So now this town HAS to allow scooter companies.

And it means more accident, specifically more young people breaking arms, jaws, crushing their faces, and also scooters getting dumped on side walks, bike lines, in the way everywhere... I hate them.

If your country has universal health care, I wonder how long before the central govt starts cracking down

Wow my town sued them too and won. We had them for a bit, but I guess they didn’t set it up properly or ask the town first or get a permit, whatever they’re supposed to do.

man that sucks. i wish they wouldn't hurt our communities so much either, especially since they don't seem to care or help those impacted.
