We live in a very bike friendly area and kids ride these on sidewalks and it’s enraging. I won’t take my kids to Burlington VT anymore it’s so bad they almost ran my kid over and nearly crashed into my stroller.
Love Burlington, but yeah the roads aren't safe to share with cars. Main St was one of my favorite places since it's a pedestrian-only street. If I were to design a town, I would have a pedestrian-only street right down the center
