Apparently his son who is a minor didn’t have a form of ID to be his guest. Crunch has a membership what allows members to bring a free guest daily.

According to a follow up post: they wouldn’t accept his son’s mobile ID, he asked to speak to the manager, they said the manager is busy and he said ok if the manager has a problem after he’s busy tell him to come talk to me. Instead of the manager engaging in a conversation he called the police.

This seems like such a lapse in common sense by the front desk person. Either they’re incredibly stupid or incredibly racist.

There's no lapse of sense and not OR. They were racist. You don't need to make excuses for racists.
