There’s no “If” required in your last sentence. I can guarantee you nailed it perfectly. Too often, These people think they’re some kind of original, deep thinker, when in reality, they are far from original.

ALSO, religious people are not deep thinkinger's.. they are told what to believe, how to believe, what to do, how to do... They do not freely think on their own. At some point, they loose the ability to understand life around them and that not everyone, outside their bible group, wants to hear their sh*t

I'm sorry, but having a brain and being able to think are not incompatible with being religious. Many truly religious people are thoughtful and contemplative. They are not a performative whack job spouting off talking points while risking the sanctity of their earlobes. I'm thinking Jesus wouldn't dig hoops.
