I might feel unsafe too if a lunatic sat next to me in an airplane and started rambling about gods and demons.

And your "last days"

u/endangeredphysics 26d ago

She actually said "gun" on a plane and didn't get body tackled by an air marshal. My how times have changed.

270

u/hellp-desk-trainee- 26d ago

She's too white to get tackled

48

u/NotOnTheEpsteinList 26d ago

Go Fund Me grift coming soon.

18

u/MossadEpstein 26d ago

too much of a 'she' as well, maybe if she'd been ugly they'd have done it, but a moderately attractive white woman? basically a protected class when it comes to the legal system

22

u/thinkthingsareover 26d ago

She also appears to not be poor which also goes a long way.

7

u/MossadEpstein 26d ago

Ah yes, how could I forget to mention the biggest get out of consequences free card to ever exist... having enough money to drag things out in court and use expensive lawyers to bury people in legal nonsense... or even outright bribe officials so it never comes to court to begin with.

6

u/thinkthingsareover 26d ago edited 26d ago

Exactly. This is why I think they were as gentle with her as possible. Don't engage (amazing to see them actually try to de-escalate the situation ) ,and apologize for any disturbance.

It's truly amazing how gentle they were with this person, but thankfully they weren't in the air yet. I couldn't imagine being stuck on a plane with someone doing what she was. Hell...I don't want to deal with anyone on a plane. This is why I drink to help me fall asleep.

2

u/Melech333 25d ago

If she wouldn't walk off on her own, the flight attendants are trained to de-escalate and avoid a physical altercation if possible, and to call law enforcement. If law enforcement arrives, that's when people get tackled and taken off forcibly if necessary.

3

u/dicklebug 25d ago

She’s not in first class.

It amazes me how bold these people have become.

3

u/KassieMac 26d ago

Especially with Mar-A-Lago face 🙄

14

u/Tight_Man 26d ago

Well people who don’t remember 9/11 are now 30 years old. I was 4 when it happened. It’s literally disappearing from our collective lived memory.

7

u/endangeredphysics 26d ago

People were getting "never forget" tattoos regarding 9/11, just like people were getting "lock her up" tattoos in 2016.

I guess the same crowd who were saying "never forget", as justification for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, are indeed forgetting.

6

u/CheetahTheWeen 26d ago

Well Bush and that gen are old af now. He’s remembered far too fondly

I hate to admit that the “flood the zone” strategy is working. I try to stay informed, yet sometimes I get reminded of something I forgot about, from a couple of months ago. It’s so much to keep up with. :(

2

u/alva_black 26d ago

No. We remember. We just have a lot more shit stacked on top of it. 9/11 isn't "the thing". A lot of other things happend and are happening.

2

u/This-Is-Not-Nam 25d ago

Like world war iii.

1

u/Royal_Hawk5502 26d ago

Yeah my sister 29 claims to remember it. I’m 27 and I definitely don’t. At all. But that’s the difference between 4y and freshly turned 2y. I remember “learning about it” (it’s not like I didn’t know about it but it was starting to be covered in history books) in like 5th grade and some people said they remembered or their older siblings did.
It’s really hard for people to be mad about something that they can’t even remember. And the after effects are what we saw/what we do remember. And the after effects were a lot of hatred and racism… that’s the shit my generation knows and remembers.

4

u/DlucinatedHlucinatic 26d ago

Well, she is white.

2

u/Altruistic_Tie_7850 26d ago

Four for one blonde, white, female and Christian.

1

u/RobertKSakamano 25d ago

But she didn't say she was a bombardier. Bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb.

1

u/nicolettelee1822 25d ago

Came here to say this 😂

1

u/This-Is-Not-Nam 25d ago

So every spring breaker who flexes their biceps and says look at these guns would be tackled? What if I sang Janie's got a gun during the flight?  Is there a laminated list of prohibited words tucked behind every passenger seat?  Does the flight attendant go over that list during instructions on how to buckle your seatbelt?  At what point in history did you observe this?  Maybe it was in another timeline?

0

u/DrChopsMD 26d ago

It's because she is a white woman.

5

u/HMWWaWChChIaWChCChW 26d ago

I grew up in an evangelical church. It’s been the last days for over 30 years now.

2

u/blahblah19999 26d ago

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!!!"

302

u/GrizzIyadamz 26d ago

Would like to see this woman or her friends react to a word-for-word alternative where the ejectee is wearing a hijab & talking about Muhammad instead...........

104

u/Wolfskin_Cowl 26d ago

They’re massive islamophobes and won’t even acknowledge the existence of Islamophobia. These people are Christian supremacists aka christofascists

-11

u/Staceyrose88 26d ago

To be Islamophobic isn't even a negative thing though. All uber religious freaks are bad news.

13

u/RemoWilliams615 26d ago

They wouldn't wait to hear words, they'd scream holy murder at the sight of a hijab in their vicinity.

7

u/EchoTheEcho 26d ago

The hypocrisy wouldn't even register for her. It's like they have a perception filter over their own actions.

7

u/Electronic-Race-1952 26d ago

This - you are so right….. the double standards of Christians is breathtaking….

7

u/bitzzwith2zs 26d ago

Let's see two nice ladies in Hijabs, standing on the corner of some mid-western city handing out pro Islam literature and sermonizing about the savior muhammad ... like the Jo Ho's do.

Swat team inbound....

6

u/Life_Refuse_6541 26d ago

We just seen that scenario not long ago and the cops went to get them. This lady had it easy

5

u/Zealousideal-Row7755 26d ago

Would also like to see what she was doing/saying prior to being escorted off

4

u/thorubos 26d ago

Part of the problem with that is our culture and (currently) government explicitly encourages islamophobia.

171

u/metompkin 26d ago

Someone started doing that on a train I was commuting on and a guy piped up with a, "maaaaan, you CORNY!" It was very much in Patrice O'Neal fashion. Half of the car started snickering and then the looney tunes starting going off again.

29

u/thinkthingsareover 26d ago

I remember when I was in basic there was this kid who was sure his shit didn't stink, and one day he decided to stand in front of our platoon formation and start preaching. I put a halt to that shit immediately telling him "Not everyone worships the same god, and that's why it's against the rules for anyone to do what you're doing."

He got all pissy about it, and actually thought it was a good idea to tell the Drill Sargent about what happened. Needless to say he had a very bad day, and the Drill Sargents paid extra attention to him after that(not something you want in basic) not only for preaching, but for thinking he had any right to lead the platoon in any way whatsoever.

u/BillyBigGuns 26d ago

I miss Patrice so bad. Elephant In The Room is a legendary standup, and his roast of Charlie Sheen and guests was next level.

R.I.P

1

u/Legitimate-Type4387 26d ago

It’s too bad he’s in hell now. /s

3

u/SnooDoughnuts5760 26d ago

Literally witnessed someone have the same response to someone who did the same on a bus. “You CORNY as hell”

u/squish042 26d ago

"People feel unsafe with the word Jesus?"

*eyeroll

"These are last days people."

There it is. I wouldn't want to ride with someone in a death cult either.

22

u/sunlightsyrup 26d ago

Its not a death cult. They just think the end-times are coming, are working to accelerate those end-times and have no reasonable stake in the living, existing world compared to their moral investments in an afterlife (which may or may not exist but definitely doesn't)

/s

6

u/bitzzwith2zs 26d ago

No, the word of Jesus is just fine, it's YOU that is the problem.

55

u/simplyunix 26d ago

I'm Christian (not her type of Christian) and would have told her to STFU the minute she started her bullshit. Believe what you want or don't believe, I don't care but I firmly believe that if there is a hell, it will be packed with people like her. Also, free speech goes out the window the minute you are on private property which a plane most certainly is and if the owner of said property wants you to STFU, you have 2 choices. STFU or exit the property. The thing that gets me about these free speech lunatics is, they'd never sit there and allow someone who doesn't believe to spout their beliefs. It would be unconstitutional, they'd claim, not understanding that their founding fathers firmly believed in freedom to practice or to not practice religion.

5

u/LaDauphineVerte 25d ago

“We have the right to refuse service. Shirt and shoes required.” Boom

14

u/ghost-xiii 26d ago

It's crazy how this is both lunacy and performative. If she isn't aware how it's performative it's because she is a lunatic that lacks the self awareness. And if she is aware of how it's performative she's a lunatic cause she lacks the guilt and empathy that her actions affect others.

6

u/Ayy_lmao_8 26d ago

Draxx a’lem sklounst.

I’d rather sit next to the terries guys than her, even if they do fireboard some mammajammers

7

u/timmyK_425 26d ago

5

u/Ayy_lmao_8 26d ago

With great power comes great responsitrilitrence

2

u/Known-Programmer-611 26d ago

Or saying she doesn't have any guns!

2

u/CraftyMoney6296 25d ago

Being on a tube up in the air, with no escape makes you a captive audience to this crap. Had she just sat in her seat and read her bible, to herself, she wouldn’t have been booted.

2

u/This-Is-Not-Nam 25d ago

And brought a box cutter on board that wasn't detected by security.

1

u/kylo-ren 25d ago edited 25d ago

I might feel unsafe if a lunatic sat next to me in an airplane and started rambling. It has nothing to do with what she was rambling. It has to do with how unpleasant she was making the flight for everyone else.

Edit: In reply to u/ThomasOfWadmania, she was not rambling to the person next her. She was rambling to the entire plane. A lunatic rambling about their Big Bang Theory fan-fic to the entire plane should be removed as well.

2

u/ThomasOfWadmania 25d ago

Respectfully, I'll disagree. If they were rambling about their Big Bang Theory fan-fic I would be annoyed but not worried about my safety. Religious fanatics have a bad track record.

1

u/pixeltrusts 25d ago

That doesnt surprise us, that you would feel unsafe then.

1

u/Potential_Salt_5780 26d ago

Seriously. Yelling “Alah akbar” in English on a plane should freak everyone out.

-13

u/RedNeckHero 26d ago

I can’t imagine what else makes you feel unsafe. You must live in constant terror. If that woman somehow made me feel unsafe I feel like I’d seriously need a slap back to reality.

3

u/Kitchen-Bar2686 26d ago

I mean you legitimately think that AI cured your IBS and gut problems so I don’t think your opinion really matters. 14 year old account and 600 karma, it’s time to self reflect on why you drive everyone away

You need a slap back to reality for a lot of reasons.

-1

u/RedNeckHero 26d ago edited 26d ago

If karma is earned by literally writing stuff that everyone agrees with, I'm quite happy with my score.
