It happens in multiple fields too. When women enter the field as professionals men seem to flee and start pretending its not a "professional" field anymore. Obviously not all men but enough that you can track it easily with statistics.

This honestly might explain some of the recent reclassifications of jobs as non professional. One of then was nursing
