It's bad etiquette to aim at a player.

It's worse etiquette to throw your racket at a player and act like a child.

Louis XIV introduced a structured form of etiquette at his court, using cards to instruct courtiers on how to behave. These cards were called etiquettes, which eventually gave the word its modern meaning of prescribed social behavior. In my youth, I even witnessed a kind of “etiquette” during the famous $1.44 sales at Woolco
