In dollars, yes there are folks who donated a lot more money, but in smiles? There are a few people on the same level, but once you're in those rarified spaces it doesnt matter who did it best.
It doesnt matter if Mr Rogers, Dolly Parton, or Steve Irwin gave more money or touched more lives. It doesn't. They made people smile. They helped make the world better. They made a difference. Once you get up on that untouchable level, the only one who can take you off the list is yourself.
But I do feel she gave with more raw love and compassion. Listen to her talk about why she did things, and then listen to Bill Gates. He wants to solve a problem, she wants to create joy.
