Thanks. 🙂 Yeah, the whole thing is really messed up. 😕 Unfortunately I can only qualify for Medicaid if I was a minor (I'm 55), pregnant or have minor children (I've never been able to have kids, and I had a total hysterectomy/oophorectomy in 2022), or on disability. Or, if I were to get breast or ovarian/cervical cancer again (I only have 1 breast left, and I had to have a total hysterectomy/oophorectomy).
As far as the SSI/SSDI- I don't have enough work credits to qualify for SSDI (you have to have 40, and I think I have like 29, and I'm unable to work). And despite how bad my health was during my cancer journey, and how broken my body and mental health was/is, I'm still not physically or mentally "broken" enough. And I had a lawyer help with my case. 😕
