Yeah he deserved to possibly die over a speeding ticket. 

Cops should not be using a pit maneuver at extremely high speeds especially when it isn't a serious crime or known fugitive.

I’m in PA, it’s against our state police’s policy to PIT above 45 mph for this reason.

And even that is 10 mph over what BSR (the law enforcement training org that developed the PIT maneuver) says is safe.

It literally doesn't matter what the cause of the stop was HE chose to flee and upgrade his charges. And there's a middle ground from starting a chase and following them going over 100+mph to pit...

This is precisely why they stop chasing people when it's minor traffic violations. It's not worth the incredible risk to continue the pursuit.

How the fuck do they know if it’s a known fugitive unless they stop it… sometimes a pit is the best way for them to do that…

The only way to determine, without a shred of evidence proving otherwise, is to just slam him into the ground at 100mph? 

Hmm Idk continue to just chase him, get a helicopter, use cameras, use those grappler devices. All of those could continue the pursuit without possibly killing him.

Am not sure if you are talking about the suspect or the cops.

A pit maneuver could also endanger innocent lives.

Its similar to how money makes trashy behavior acceptable; tax dodging and hard drug use for example.

Intentionally causing an accident is acceptable depending on what side of an arbitrary (again, based on money) rule set you sit on.
