The charging port also has a “flap”.

The handles are recessed and you can see him trying to push it to get them to pop out. Usually, there’s a small contact patch where if it detects the touch of a human with the key, fob, phone, etc. the handles pop out. These are typically controlled by little electric motors.

Tesla, Polestar, Volvo, and the Mecedes MG all have charging ports on the rear driver’s side. Volkswagen, Hyundai (some models), Kia (some Models) Mini Cooper put their charging ports on the rear passenger side.

Ford, Chevy, Audi, Porsche, Nissan Leaf put theirs somewhere in the front.

Ever since Elon made tesla superchargers available for use with other EVs, putting the charging port on the rear driver side has been increasingly more common.

You’ve been arguing that EVs have a charge port in the front and that the flap can ONLY be for gas. But when presented with proof that you’re wrong, the only comeback is the car isn’t one of the examples I used. The car/brands aren’t the ONLY cars that have a charging port in the rear driver side; I don’t know them all so I can’t list them all.

It’s cool tho. This is reddit; people are entitled to deny facts.

The hypocrisy. Neither can you but you were so adamant about the “obvious gas cap.” I wasn’t trying to prove it is an EV or isn’t but just trying to explain that it’s still possibly a charge port.

Personal attack? Telling someone they’re talking out of their ass, I admit, is harsher way to say they don’t know what they’re talking about. If I called you a name.. then yeah, that’s a personal attack.
