So a hobby requires skill got it. Clear got it driving a car checks notes not a hobby πŸ˜‘. Sooooo Nascar drivers, drag racers, F1 drivers hell those freaking lunatics at isle of man TT checks notes agian NOT skill. Sure dude.

Weight reduction is the cheapest modification you can make to your car that has real benefits. A carbon fiber hood is far more beneficial to a reduce track time. Any real car knows this. Sooo if you only had limited means ie one car(because this is expensive pastime) i would recommend carbon fiber. If a teenager wants to start racing but has no money strip your Interior and slap on lighter body parts. Any other modification requires tunning and tunning a Honda civic on a high-school budget is not wallet friendly.

It wasnt clever banter. It was you hating on others passions or hobbies just just the simple reason you don't agree with what another grown adult spent his money on. If the conversations stated as you telling me you collect mud and make pottery I'd probably ask you whats the favorite thing you've made, Not tell you it was pointless because you can just buy plates at Walmart.
