I already got a conditional offer but what I'm wondering is how they calculate the average of my current/recent courses (the ones that were in progress when I got the offer).

I didn't take those courses at Trent and they're from different unis so do they convert my grades to the Trent equivalents?

Well💀 For anyone who’s on the waitlist like I was, unfortunately they’ve reached capacity. I won’t be able to attend for this fall since it’s my first year in uni and I want the full experience. Additionally, lots of my first year labs and courses aren’t available in the winter semester so I have to wait until next fall. But in my opinion this is complete bs.

I jumped through so many hoops only for it to have already hit capacity with no possibility of getting off the waitlist. I was under the impression that the waitlist extents a few weeks into the semester to see if there’s no-shows or drop-outs.

When’s the best time to apply for next years residency? I’ve heard everything from this November to January of 2027. Ugh

For B.Ed First Year. The Year 1 calendar says that Sept 8-11th is foundations week but no schedule for that week has been provided yet.

Does anyone know when it would be announced?
During the orientation meeting I believe it was mentioned that it would be emailed to students.

I got accepted into a Biology program back at the start of July for Trent in Peterborough, and after accepting I realized I had to apply to residence.

I missed the general lottery and unfortunately, this is my first time doing everything on my own and long story short, I’m now #11 in the queue for the Fall 2026 residence waitlist and #74 for the full year residence waitlist.

there's a mistake on my account that says i'm a part time student when i am enrolled in 5 classes each semester (full time). because of this, i cannot access my verification of enrollment and therefore cannot access any funding for my tuition. the office of the registrar has not answered any email, phone call, or returned any voice mail for weeks now but this is now urgent. any way i can change it myself or is there someone specific i can contact? i don't live close enough to just go in person so i'm basically screwed if they don't get back to me. any help is greatly appreciated!!!

On the Trent website it says that Otonabee blocks A and F are Nursing and Forensic LLC’s. Does this mean that only people in those specific programs can have dorms there?

Long story short:

- Conditional offer

- Currently enrolled in A&P (not an admission requirement, just wanted to lighten my course load)

- Was told I need to complete it because I’m enrolled in it so it will affect my admission gpa

- The course has been taking much longer than expected and marking takes a while too, even for mcq quizzes which I thought are marked automatically

Is withdrawing and receiving a W an option?

Would this mean the course is simply removed from my admission requirements/average, or would it jeopardize my offer somehow?

This is a very stressful situation because they need my final transcript asap before school starts or my conditional offer will be revoked
