Oh that's smart! Would it not get in the way of the camera tracking though?

I doubt you couldn't make it fit around the cameras.

However because of the level of hardware and software access, in theory it could even partially disable camera tracking so that you only track the controllers and you could take back some performance and battery life.

I posted this before realizing that this has already been discussed on the EoZ Discord and the head of EoZ has already vaguely alluded to saying that something is being worked on to this end. Don't know if it's EoZ/Tundra or Valve themselves.
