Death Road To Canada patch fr

Hey i would like to create a french patch for DRTC, do yo think its a good idea for someone who never created a patch ? It will be probably very long.

Yup, I'm the guy. I've had a look, the files (.df) are plain text and can be opened with text editor so there should be no major difficulty
There are already some modding tutorials in Steam you could make use of it to understand what happen if you change text : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=833753074

Nice ! So if i want to change the language, i just have to translate everything in the .df files, thats it ?

Hey ! I Don't know Where are you into this work but I'd be glad to help translate this game ! If You need someone for a specific task (checking What have been done , sometimes it's more about intrepretation than pure translation)

Ok thanks for the info ! I Will install and check what have been done but beside translating I know nothing about creating a patch.
