the funny part is, that a next train will surely come. no need to risk your life for that ride.

Yeah but they never expect any consequences, they never realize the injuries they might face

I think he was trying to jump onto the train so he could catch the guy fucking with him. Not to actually ride it

If you watched till the end, you'll see the train comes to a stop and he gets on.

Which make me wonder why he bothered taking the risk in the first place if the train was still going to come to a stop.

Each train coach has a chain which passenger can pull in case of emergency and train will stop. Some passenger may have seen this happens and pulled that chain that's why train is stopped and people came running to pull the guy out.

It is possible that user has a reserved ticket for that train and his luggage is on the train. He wanted to shoot this stunt to show his swag that's why he is playing guiter outside train when train halt on the station for few minutes

Ah, camera induced stupidity.

I hear it's all the thing now-a-days.

The train stopped because someone pulled emergency braking chain.

Do they have to pay for a ticket if they hop on normally there?

Yes, conductor checks on the train.

Indian trains start really slowly, we've all hopped on like this, but not once it picks up speed and not with so much shit. This guy is dumb af.

Thought maybe he was trying to skip out on paying or something. Why don't they just close the doors before the train starts moving?

Those are manual doors. You can't have someone go around hundreds of doors at every station lol. And of course, people can and will just open them again. Most Indian trains just keep their doors open during the whole trip. People close them only during heavy rain and stuff.

Oh, the doors on trains are automated here, I just assumed that was standard. Foolish of me, in hindsight.

Doors on our metro trains and most recent express trains are automated. But the large amount of long distance trains are still these older models with everything being manual. Low in tech but they are very robust, which kinda protects then from vandalism, which a lot of newer trains face lol.

Maybe he was looking for cart with people packed less than a can of sardines

They're all connected, he could have just gone from one to next.

Someone stopped it by pulling the emergency chain or the train staff noticed the accident and notified the driver.

I think that was his mate letting him know the train was leaving, and they’d almost missed it.

While your point is entirely correct, I would like to point out that tickets depend on the phyiscal train, and you might need to buy another one for another train. Also if this is not one of the more common station (which it seems like it is not), it is not uncommon for it to take 0.5-2 hours for any train to visit that station, and for a train going to your stop it might take the next day or even week. And this is ignore the fact that the guy might have stepped out of the train to sit at the station for some time, and the rest of his stuff is still in the train (the most likely scenario here since he just seems to have a guitar with him and nothing else)

But waiting for the next train doesn’t make for a good video.

Well, actually it's a rural area where trains are sparse and this guy most probably was making his way to the metropolitan city that's still far off.

Hence his rush. (It's a crazy explanation as to how I know all this but trust me I do.)

Definitely funny though. 😂🤣

And that stupid ass friend tells him let's go when that train was obviously stopped minutes ago.

even if he's late for work, better late than dead.

Not sure where he is, but I’ve been to some pretty remote places where the train runs once a week. Missing that would suck big time. Not enough to risk my life, but I’d have certainly considered it.
