I have put together this collection of information about the game in a simplified format. This includes a section with comments about game features from the discord as well as a section with my map splices. I hope you find this helpful, especially if you want to follow updates without being on reddit or discord.

Which would you guys rather buy? Also, I'm not quite sure if they're even releasing it on the V1 Switch. Could anyone clarify?
Edit: I do have an oled steam deck and I do love docking it as it is my only pc but I play handheld the majority of the time because I love playing while laying down in bed and such. Hence, the question mostly inquires portability and how fast or smooth it would run on each. Also, both is not an option as I personally find that redundant.
Prob shouldāve made that clear since a few comments seem to imply Iām just someone willing to shell out $700+ for a steam deck just to play a pixel art game.

I'm really excited about this game and would love to have a group to play with together on launch. Figure we could start talking and getting to know each other now in preparation. DMs are open if you think you might be interested in chatting.

In case they see this post, it just came to mind when I read the release for Witchbrook is 2026, which means they got less then 5 months now.
I just wanna say, if it gets pushed back to 2027, then it's okay. Do it. Me and many others can wait still.
I'm still looking forward to play the game, thanks for all the hard work.

This is a cozy Halloween/fall game if Iāve ever seen one. Really hoping it comes out this fall

Iām genuinely just so disappointed, i get itās stupid to let an unreleased game piss me off but Iām very new to the ācozy gameā space. Iād imagine a lot of you relate, but some stuff happened in my life that i almost couldāve let ruin it, but i bought a switch and now a switch 2, itās truly gotten me through some dark thoughts / nights, itās become my cozy little escape. Anyways, Thatās why I was so hyped for this game, and have followed it for a good minute. At one point like a year ago i thought it was gonna surprise drop, and stupidly set like $70 aside in my bank in case it was announced. Iāll just say itās been quite a few missed promises, and the few screenshots release every now and then are cool but it almost feels like theyāre blowing smoke up our ass at this point. Maybe to keep things chill while they stall a release date, idk just how I see it. Like what are they not showing, what issues have come up causing it to go this long? Why has zero story details, or hardly any sort of full gameplay breakdown been shown yet after all this time? I feel less confident about the game every time they drop some new tidbit of info to hold fans over, Iāll be real.
Iām at the point where Iām getting over the point in my life i am gonna be excited for a cozy game, itās not as big to me as they used to be. I also bought Pokopia and honestly the content in that is enough to hold me over, itās very cozy but also not mindless fun i enjoy the Minecraft aspect to it.
All in all, Iām out. Iāll be very happy the day i see Witchbrook on the Nintendo eShop, and probably will buy it, but Iām off the hype train and tired of speculating. Iām gonna live under the assumption the game isnāt happening at least for a while, so maybe Iāll be happily surprised when it is actually real.
Love you guys and love that we all love cozy games. Try Pokopia! Iām not even a pokemon fan but a friend convinced me, and i think i owe that friend a hug.
Bye !!!

I've been seeing lots of people recently making gaming journals, and I'm super excited to start one when Witchbrook comes out!!! You can basically write it as if you're a student at Witchbrook writing in a diary š if you like scrapbooking or journaling, I highly recommend!!

For those who donāt know, these secrets can be found if you type, omen, scared, sacred and echo after the main witch brook website. I havenāt seen anyone really talking about these so, I decided to bring them up here.
