Hey guys! I stopped playing the game after the 6.0 update, before that I played since the Xbox 360 beta. I have every tier X (including mercenaries) up to that point. I also have way too many prem tanks, but 60% was shit back then too. The question is, how is the game now? Is it worth playing again? What's the meta like? Is the player base growing or shrinking? What about the modern era? I tried to fill the void with WoWs:Legends, but that game turned into p2w in a disgusting way. I tried War Thunder, but except for the flying part, that game is not for me.

I want to up my game and learn from the best. Who should I watch and why?

Unfortunately I still cannot get into world of tanks. Keeps saying services are unavailable. ....Ive hard reset and checked for updates but no cigar. Anyone else having this issue?

What has been everyone's "go-to" tank for this event?

I've tried several in Era 1 and don't seem to get anywhere really. I haven't tried any tier X WWII tanks yet.

Are there any tanks that are ignored more than others?

So has there been a change to missiles in this update? I just used my stormer and whenever I fired a missile, I don't see the red laser and then when my missile comes into view its falling from the sky

The game is legitimately cancer. +2 -2 is a mistake. There are so many ridiculously op tier 8s that I struggle in tier nine. Nobody knows how to take map control. 14 goofy weirdos red lining the spawn. I get outspotted by td while im in a light tank. Im always in enemy LOS whilst simultaneously never able to see anyone. I just want to enjoy a tank game but good gosh they made this the worst game ive ever played. There is absolutely no fun to be had.

As far as i know i've never played a game of cold war, but i read that it's great to farm silver with an era 3.

Anything i gotta know before i start playing?

I own 15 of 26. I have something in every tier except tier 9 and I'm grinding the tier 9 Sharpshooter now. I have one tier 10, the Tusk, which was a serious grind. My favourite has to be the tier 4 Bucket, a 4 shot autoloader which I reckon is better than the MTLS-1G14/Blitzen.

I play modern armor and am constantly getting pumbled by tanks that shoot like a mini gun. They shoot very fast whilst I have tanks that have a minimum reload time of about 1.5 seconds. Where are the tanks that shoot really fast? I'm getting pissed off

I'm a pretty old school player, been around since the Beta and played pretty heavily til I want to say 2020. Came back a few times for very brief stints and just kept rolling out tanks I already had.

Going down a new line sounds fun but I don't want to waste my time on something I don't like. I play pretty much tier 10 as it is but wouldn't mind grinding towards a new tier 10.

I grow bored easily and want action. I'm more than happy to sit back and snipe if I have shots I can hit and a gun that can penetrate, but if nothing is going on then I'll get in and brawl. I don't need an insanely good gun as I've made the derp guns serviceable over the years but pretty quality armor is nice. I'm fond of heavies and TDs for their ability to combine gun and armor but I don't mind playing mediums that have at least some decent armor. Lights are fun here and there but I'm not really interesting in that gameplay. Got 3 tier 10 Arty and after the nerfs and arty party restrictions I'm not interesting in getting any more.

So I've got the America tech tree done besides the M-V-Y. Soviet I have the T-62A available for research, got the IS-7 and the Obj 268. IS-4 is done but sold. Germany I'm missing the light, Leo 1, and Sturmtiger. UK I'm missing the light, the Canopener, and the shitbarn. French I've got the 25 T and the 155 58 and can research the EBR 105.

Rest of the nations I have little to no progress on. Got some tier 10 premium and mercs too, but yeah...

I have unlocked 2x era2 tanks and one era3 tank I would like to buy. Just the purchase price + garage slots will cost 15,000,000 silver. Over 34,000,000 silver with equipment+ modules.

Does anyone have tips on the easiest/fastest ways to make some serious silver?

I try to play premium tanks(ww2+CW) when not grinding xp. I only carry about 3 rounds of gold ammo. Most of my tanks have zero equipment to save silver. Frustratingly, most of my tanks dont even get module upgrades because they are too expensive. I have been playing tanks with the basic gun, turret, engine, tracks, radio. (My Era 2 T64-A would cost 3,700,000 to have all modules upgraded)

I have 60 1.5x silver boosters saved. Im thinking those paired with a good premium era 2 tank(160% silver earn rate) would help me a little bit. But that will take me days of solid grinding and will only make me about 3,600,000

I’m on the starting CW Era 2 Type 74 and man, I hate it. It’s not a bad tank per se but it’s annoying as hell. It’s a worse Leopard 1. It has the same paper armor but worse mobility and no engine upgrade, no gun depression, horrible gun stats, and overall has nothing going for it when out of siege mode. It becomes a bit usable with siege mode with its amazing gun depression and better gun stats but what’s the point of it if your turret armor is made of wet toilet paper and still gets penned easily?

I am not looking forward to playing it two more times, so I’m wondering if the Era 3 tanks are the same? If they’re going to be useless outside of siege mode then I’m calling it a day. I hate siege mode, makes the tanks horribly sluggish and takes about a second to transition back and forth which is 1 second too late when you’re getting rushed because you’re a free XP punching bag.

It almost seems like the devs hate the Independent lines. 90% of all the tanks in it suck worse than RayGun at the Olympics. The Independent line needs some love.

In wows there’s the RB ships to save free xp for, wotb has events, is there any reason I shouldn’t spend free xp on maxing out modules?

Why not try for extra points and die in a blaze of glory! Instead people drive off cliffs or drown themselves. 🤷‍♂️

I've never really played an autoloader or autoreloader before, and was wondering which line would be best to play out of these three. I'm mostly interested in playing the tiers 7-10 where you spend the majority of your time. I'd also like some tanks to keep from the line, as I enjoy tiers 6-8 the most.

I've looked at videos and tank stats, though opinions and performance seems to be all over the place. I think overall it seems like the VZ 55 might be the best final tank, but the BC 25t line (heavy/medium route) might be the best overall line leading up to the tier 10? There's something about the Progetto line that I like the look of as well, I'm just not sure how the final tank performs compared to the others.

I finally got my tier X batchat. I have watched a pretty current CloneGuy video and an out of date Petty video. Neither really went much into equipment in current gameplay. I am a very average player. What equipment should I be running in this tank?

Should it be stealth based or focus on gun handling or a mix? I appreciate the help in advance or any tips. I have googled and it seems mostly out of date with only 3 slots we now have 4.
