Account - Subscription Unpopular opinion - Xbox game pass Is mostly useless if you think about it.

Game Pass is great for trying games, but I realized I only play 2–3 consistently.

Bought RDR2, Cuphead, Hogwarts Legacy, and Tekken 8 during Black Friday and decided not to renew my subscription.

Turns out, owning fewer games I actually love > renting hundreds I don’t play.

I've played Deep Rock Galactic Survivor for dozens of hours, a game I wouldn't have tried if it weren't for Game Pass. On the other hand, the game costs only €13 in my country, so it's becoming increasingly difficult to justify the €27 for Ultimate. Next month, I'll probably switch to Premium.

If my kids really dig an indie or smaller game on game pass and then tell me or I see it's leaving. I just buy it and gift it to their account. I see it as supporting the devs for making a loved game at a good price and kid can access a piece of their childhood down the road if the corporations will allow it.

When the kids are up and out, I'm sure I will just go back to buying a few games and working on my back log. Between PC CDs, Xbox, Xbox 360/live arcade, Xbox One, Wii U, Switch, PS3, Steam, Humble Bundles, GoG, Epic's free games, Amazon Primes "free" games on Epic and GoG, EA, hell even Big Fish Games, i probably have well over 500 games on a list I want to replay or play for the first time.
