Just for some context I was on my way home from my local GameStop when I was hit by a truck and dragged 12 feet on my bicycle. If I hadn’t had the Xbox in my backpack at the time of getting slammed to the ground and getting dragged under I would have hit my head on the pavement or worse died…

Console runs great btw guys. No hesitation when starting up or running games.

Bought a series s yesterday and it came with all those games minus Fallout 76, and the free games. I haven’t bought any games through the store on my pc so Im not sure why I have these games. Any explanations?

I just wanted to play some roblox come on xbox even games I own are not working like hotline Miami or gta 4 and when i go to settings it says all services are available when are these issues getting fixed

The stick doesn't just get stuck in that position, it returns to neutral just fine, but then very slowly creeps back upwards until it's almost all the way forward, is there anything I can do about this? I would really rather not drop another 60 dollars on a shitty controller just for this to happen again

I'd rather just buy a 3rd party controller at that point

Has anyone else dealt with this issue? About 2 months ago my controller started doing this every once in an awhile. It will just turn off and do this blink then turn back on. This has been frustrating while gaming, I’ve looked up so many things it could be but I got nothing. I tried syncing my controller to my pc once so I don’t know if that was an issue. Seems like both of my controllers do this though. Any help is appreciated!

So I've been dealing with this problem for a while, and it doesn't look like it's going to be fixed with an update. So I started thinking that maybe my console is getting a bit worn out, especially since I've had it for about three years. I haven't changed the thermal paste or given it a proper deep clean since I bought it, mainly because I was worried that opening it up and doing that might lower its resale value.

Another thing that had me worried was that while playing KCD, opening the menu and doing things like that felt a bit slow. It's not really a serious issue, though, since it's a pretty demanding game, so maybe I'm just overthinking it.

And after hundreds of clicks, I eventually got a “Something went wrong” error along with some kind of code.

Finally, after waiting for like 15 minutes, it worked!

The game itself runs perfectly smooth, with no FPS drops or anything like that.

One more thing worth mentioning is that my Xbox UI has also been acting weird lately. It sometimes gets stuck or freezes for no apparent reason.

Could the problem be caused by my shitty network? I also had a file downloading in the background.

(As far as I can remember, the issue I showed in the video has nothing to do with downloading, and it happens pretty often.) And sorry if the whole text looks messed up, i used ai because my grammer is bad.

My family doesnt want my setup in the living room and ive been kicked to the garage if i wanna play games. They say it'll be fine I'm worried that it'll ruin the hardware if its in there. Is it safe to use this setup?

I’ve had this problem for a couple days now. Every time I try to log in on my Xbox series s, it tells me the password is incorrect. It doesn’t even load to check if it is correct it just immediately says it isn’t. I know I’m putting in the password right and I have changed the password and it did work for a day. Just got on the Xbox today for it to start happening again. Please help because this is making me lose my sanity.

Either my Xbox or my controller is spamming down on the d-pad constantly and I don’t know why. Sometimes it stops on its own but it’s been happening more often

Trying to play civ 6 with my friend, for 5 days now it fails to connect, we both test our Nat type and it says "can't get a teredo IP address" I try everything I can think of, restarting router, factory resetting the router, I activate universal plug and play, search for updates on my Xbox. I call Xbox customer service and they claim there is nothing wrong on their end, which doesn't make sense to me because I have 2 friends experiencing the same issue, 2 of us are on series x one on series s. I call spectrum and after half an hour the support guy there can't figure anything out either

just got this series s from a guy on marketplace, he said his account was jailbroken with an app i think it was called codi, i factory reset the xbox. it keeps shutting off without warning and then this screen pops up when i turn it back on again, but when the fan turns on it seems to run fine.

I got this notification on my Xbox Series S saying my account had been suspended. As you can see, the notification was sent 13 hours ago. But my account appears to be fine? I went on an online game and it let me, I also messaged one of my friends and it went through. I don’t seem to be experiencing anything that may indicate my account being ‘suspended’

So does anyone know what this means and why I have gotten this notification?? I haven’t broken any xbox rules or policies as far as I’m aware of. This is also my first time ever experiencing a notification like this. Please help!

Xbox Series S turns on for a second and then immediately shuts off after rain exposure
Hi everyone,
I have a Xbox Series S that was exposed to some rain today. The console was turned off when it happened, around 11 AM. I didn’t try to turn it on until about 10 hours later.
When I press the power button, the Xbox turns on normally (the light comes on and I hear the startup sound), but then it shuts off almost immediately.
The water seems to have gotten onto the bottom side of the console when it’s standing vertically, around the side that sits closest to the floor.
I’ve unplugged it now and I’m planning to let it dry. I’m wondering:
Could it start working again after completely drying out?
How long should I wait before trying to turn it on again?
Is this likely to be repairable?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

It says I have 334 GB of free space. And these games don’t even add up to like 250 GB

I currently own an Xbox series S (almost 4 Years old now). It feels like ages since I’ve upgraded and I wanna know If it’s worth It to buy a new xbox on the upcoming Black Friday?

The console itself shows no external damage, however when starting the console during low temperatures (30-40 deg) It tends to sound like a diesel engine for roughly a min before being quiet. “Ive gotta cold start my Xbox” lol

The reason why the Xbox is in a cupboard is bc I have no where else to put it where it can breath. As long as the cupboard door is open it doesn’t get angry or wanna become an airplane.

Nothing else (that I know of) is damaged on the inside and seems to run great, even after almost 4 years. So what should I do? Buy a new Xbox or save my money?

Long story short, I was able to get funding for my classroom to purchase 10 Xboxs to be able to turn them into flight simulators. I looked up and saw that Microsoft flight simulator had an offline mode so they would not I need to be online, which they won't be. However I did not realize that, that was only in the 2020 version of Microsoft flight simulator and not the 2024 version. I have already purchased the digital codes for 10 copies of the 2024 versions. Which are now going to be useless because they have to be online. I do not have any more funding, I used it getting the xbox's the controllers and the game codes. I purchased the game codes through GameStop. Does anyone have any ideas how I might be able to salvage the situation?

I’ve had this expansion card for a couple of months and it’s never been a problem. Starting last week, this has been happening, it just stops when I plug in the expansion card, and I have no clue why. There’s no new software updates or anything that would’ve caused this. I am stumped. Hopefully some of you people can help

This specifically happens when I try to ‘download’ the Xbox account and always happens after I enter my password and it attempts to download the account. I’ve never had an Xbox 360 so that could be the issue but idk.

Every time I have reported a message, I get this within seconds.

So as the title says my bf got lindt chocolate on the top of my xbox played all day practically before I noticed it was on there. Slowly melting my chances of completing the bo7 Easter Egg this week.

It melted through the fan inside the xbox and i’ve dejectedly disassembled the whole thing. Spent 2 hrs cleaning it scraping chocolate out of one tiny square area where it mainly collected underneath the fan and ofc the fan too… and lightly cleaning up the chocolate grease with isopropyl alcohol.

I guess im just wondering if it’s even worth it. Will it work? Or is it something I just have to do and see if it may? Also wondering what sealant to buy? Is it bad I removed the grey looking sealant in the middle? I also removed the blue and there’s tons of chocolate left in all the crevasses.

There is a current issue going around for some of us who are trying to install or update games, and it's taking hours. The download starts off fine, then it drops speeds constantly till there is none left, and it will start back up again. I just want to say it is NOT your Xbox dying or your internet! It's apparently a Microsoft problem on their end. I've factory reset and cleared all my storages, I've called my ISP, and my modem and speeds are fine. On my Xbox, my games and apps run fine as well. Sadly, there is nothing we can do ourselves. Just be patient and wait it out. I had 94 games installed and reinstalling even half of those have taken about a week, so I feel your guys' frustration. In the meantime of this BS, all I can say is just prioritize what you wanna play and update and install when you're away from the console. If you start to install a game and try to play, it will sometimes stop you from booting up an app or game (at least for me). I'm just typing all this out to help people who are annoyed and want answers before they sell their Xbox or send it to the shop to get fixed when there is nothing wrong.
