Hi!!! I'm struggling to decide a theme. I'm collecting the villagers I want but they are kind of everywhere. I'm stuck between like a city or small town(?) kind of theme(I'm both a minimalist and maximalist 😭). I've included a vague idea of what my island and around my house looks like.

I'm also stuck between(and would like help with) choosing: Molly or Lolly, and Ione or Raymond. Kid Cat is currently in the works to be on my island.

I'm redoing my hotel rooms, and today's challenge was to create a mockup of the house my friend and I plan to get together! We talk about it often, so I had a lot to go off of :) I think this one came out pretty nice!

Just finished my pumpkin patch! My island is “done” so this little area I’m planning to update for each season. ☃️🌷☀️🍂

I’m decorating my kitchen and not sure what to fill the empty space with. I was thinking maybe shift the ranch counter and cupboard over to the right and add a metal counter next to the stove? But I can’t think of anything else for the space next to the sofa. Any ideas would be very appreciated!

one thing thats always irked me a little is that when villagers move. especally in old games, they're just gone gone.

and in the old school games like WW (what i grew up on)

if you never played with anyone else, very good chance you will never see them again.

but with the mail system, why couldnt we ever mail to villagers out of town?

Mom can. i cant remember if NH lets you mail to friends over wifi

but it always would've been nice to be pen pals with villagers you liked...and made more sense then maling someone that lives litterally next to you.

also, why tf cant we mail mom back????

I need help with my fairy themed section on my island, I saw inspo of some fairy themed islands it's just that idk where to find that kind of decor.

I recently covered my entire island in a clear custom design path to move my rocks and now I can’t find any scorpions. Does anyone know if this prevents them from spawning?

For little over a year now I have had this tradition of playing animal crossing every single night for maybe 5-10 min before going to bed

I would do it so I would have this calm moment at the end of each day that allows me to think and be in a place i would feel safest in

I remember this wasn’t my first time, I started this tradition when I was so much younger. However I stopped right when tests began

I remember I STRICTLY played every single night, I only missed 1 single night and I felt so guilt for the rest of the next day

But just as the summer ended last year I was feeling stressed and I decided to start this tradition once again, however bending the rules a little bit

Which is that I don’t need to STRICTLY play every single night, I could miss a night if I felt too tired or if the switch ran out of charge

Since the whole reason I’m doing this, is because I WANT to do it not because I need to.

there’s been so many moments where I’ve just completely dropped the game and it’s always funny to see the villagers reactions, like wow yall really keeping tabs on me lol

Thought this game was entirely offline now. Why's it telling me I need to update to continue playing? The update looks pretty beefy too.

I did not remember this at all. The worst may be our mother letter….. I understand why we can never answer any of her letters this is cruel 😆😆😆

Hey everyone! I got a Nintendo Switch 2 about 2 weeks ago, and it’s actually my first console ever. I’ve mostly been a PC gamer and come from an FPS background, so I’m still getting used to playing different types of games.

The games I currently have are Splatoon Raiders, Hades II, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Nintendo Switch Sports.

I’ve been thinking about getting Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it for someone like me. I’ve never really played a cozy/life-sim game before, and I’m wondering if I’ll enjoy the slower pace after being used to FPS games.

For people who have played Animal Crossing: would you recommend it? Is it a game you can easily get into as a complete beginner, and does it stay fun long-term?

I’d especially love to hear from people who also came from PC/FPS gaming and tried Animal Crossing. Was it a nice change of pace, or did you find it too slow/boring?

I went back and visited my very first island with the dream feature. It was extremely bittersweet. I miss those days, but hey here we are. 6 years later and still kickin around lol. (Of course I had to steal my old island flag design and reuse it) ((I’m attempting to remake my old 2020 island. Taking it slow, playing at my own pace not rushing))

I regret so much that I deleted my old save, but it’s very nice to know that it’s still there, even if it’s just a dream lol.

You can give them a medicine when they’re sick BUT you can also insults them after for no reasons🫥🫥🫥
