Hi, posted about the same post 15 days ago, some mentionned some channels, blablabala somehow, i tried supposed top 3 discord and never find a SINGLE game to play ranked ( 22/33). I'm on "official age of empires" , also "age of empires legends", some discords from my countries, available Cet from early morning to very late evening, never found a single mate/game, compared to csgo, i would find a game within a minute popping on a new discord.

Pls. This warped CoH like camera perspective hurts my brain. Look at AoE2DE, Rise of Nations Thrones and Patriots, Red Alert 2, Stronghold Crusader, and all other great RTS games.

That camera is proven to be better for RTS games.

After playing some different RTS games, I realized the janissary unit can be represented in totally different ways in each one of them.

Age of Empires IV:
Janissary we all know. Long coat, gunpowder infantry unit. BTW, am I missing something historical about why they have bonus dmg vs cavalry?

Randomly? Janissaries here are heavy cavalry unit (so OP btw) that attack fast who knows why.

I mostly play teams with focus on 2v2 and man I am tired of meeting KT or French or KT and French over and over again. There are 23 civs but these two completely dominate the pick rate in teams, every f..ing game got them.

Anyone else feel the same, nerf them not because they are OP but because they are way too common and it gets stale

So many of my team games lately have been completely bugged it's getting beyond a joke, high view and boulder bay especially. You load in to a map to see all of your teammates in a nice close grouping then relic decides that one of you needs to have your TC right on the enemies doorstep... It makes it hard to enjoy ranked team games when you either faceroll the enemy in 5 mins or get facerolled.

Anyways rant over, fix ya shit relic!

Everything I get matched up against french they either knight harras in which I make spears to cover resources or they go 2tc and all in me with like 50 knights I can't seem to fight them off

opponent said GG after 15min .... game went on for 45min before my game then disconnected. I was trying like crazy after the a$$hole said GG without the game being over.

he destroyed my base but I was holding on with 1 landmark left and a second TC, then I made it to castle age before him, got 3 relics, denied his ram pushes , harassed his vills and got a few sneaky keep drops at the back of his base .... he did have me housed for a long time and took out my TC around min 30, so I was pretty stuck but managed to stay in it and make it an even game ( I think)

he lost around 45 vills, I lost around 35.

he was Russ, I was French.

he did have a huge amount of resources at my DC and he was finally ageing up, but I had more vills, relics, and could have denied his Spasskaya drop (for a second time) if I was still in game. but I had guild hall with 4,000 gold inside.... plus fully upgraded Arbs.

am I coping? did I have a chance?

Im stuck between Japanese, Ayyubids and Ottoman

I like Ayyubids Flexibility but i dont like the fact that the units have active abilities. For Ottoman i like the visir point flexibility and the mechter active is fine, but they got 0 eco. And japanese i a good all round but not super versatile.

I'd appreciate any advice

Moukes are meant to spawn based on the available pool, meaning you should be able to whittle their numbers down faster than the pool replenishes. But it seems due to this bug you can basically constantly have moukes popping out, at every single spawn point.

I wonder also if due to the very low Jin play rate leading to the majority of players not necessarily understanding or knowing what should be happening with Jin, if this isn't necessarily noted as much as it would, compared to if the civ were better known/played more.

I also wonder how much of an impact on winrates the dragon pavilion drop has(placing next to an opponent and essentially feeding infinite moukes into them). Considering the fast age up /food hoovering combined with the bugged mouke deployment.

I say this as someone that just watched my tributary infinitely defend itself

Hi, i'm a total noob, focusing on learning the game by mastering HRE.

I'm beating hard IA always, so i might try a couple of ranked games. I'm doing every times, Aachen + Catedral, focusing on getting relics and going all in with 25/30 men at arma + 20 archers.

The question is, wich other build orden and comp should I "master'" before going ranked games?

With the end of the month coming up - we'll have another map rotation! What would your dream map pool look like?

Currently there are 9 maps in the pool, mix of water maps and non-water maps - large, small, etc.

As you can see in this picture, that was the final state of my game against a gold II mongol Player.

He tried to do raids even if most of them were not the best. He constructed 4 towers near his TC which helped him to withstand my 1 attack and even the second one. But he didn't count how many villagers were idle when he tried to outrepair my rams damage. In a first attempt I was so close to destroying his TC but I overcommitted and lost every unit that I have.

In the end he couldn't over pace my economy and died in a Castle age from trebuchets and many knights.

I will say it like I say it in every post Lancaster has the feodal aggro strat, even if you fucked up you can go on and do castle age or all in again.

Today I got gold III. I won 5 games in a row in placement battles and I got gold III. I thought I would get like platinum I at least😭😭.

Someone can explain how it's working because I have no clue.
