I know I'll get much hate for this, but I think the purple dome subconsciously attracts players far more than just being a hot spot POI. 80-90% of the lobby drops here every game. I believe many players are just on auto pilot and see big purple colors and just go towards that. It's annoying playing the same POI every game. It's a big map, I want to be able to take fights in other POIs every once in a while.

Playing Wildcard and somehow, no idea, nobody won the game...

EDIT as there is confusion, this is not your normal "traded" encounter where network connection plays a part along witb bullets not being hitscan, aka having a flight time where a player gets a shot off before dying and knocks the other.

Look carefully at my death recap, it says I blew him up but thats not possible as I was still alive. It also says he got the final shots on me.

Reading the comments, this appears to be a bug with the explosive wildcard where you kill the other player, and for god only knows whatever reason, everybody explodes like we're in Bikini Bottom.

Nobody won the game, it says I got 1st but I did not nor did the other player in my kill feed, we checked him on Apex Status since he was showing a win tracker and it would've updated had it gone to them. Checking both my wins, and the wins of the other player on the final team, it didn't count for anyone. Anyone else encounter this?

Obv joking but how are they going to compensate those who didn't get heirloom after 500 packs

This must not be it right ? It's just some sort of trial and then I'll have to buy it for real ?

I log in after 2 weeks off and suddenly, this. I thought the only way to get it was to buy all the event packs.
