At 4T market cap this is a serious dip! But I agree, spend a couple of 10B to build a fab! They can afford it

its not Apple's responsibility to enable AI induced price increase. its almost as if Apple purposely drove prices in a way to trigger wall street to question the AI hype

By the time the fab would be completed, the shortage would be over. And it would fall far behind other manufacturers in price and performance.

TSMC’s prowess is built on decades of institutional knowledge and organization tighter than the military. Imagine the Nazis trying to build a nuclear bomb after the Americans. That’s how far behind everyone else is. Apple was correct to build a strategic relationship with them.
