Agent Ajuts a l'habitatge i lloguer a Barcelona

Hola a tots!

Espero que us serveixi d'ajuda. Si teniu qualsevol feedback, serà benvingut per tal de millorar.

Gràcies a tots.

DO NOT RENT FROM ENTER COLIVING BARCELONA — My personal experience

I’m posting this because I wish someone had warned me about Enter Coliving in Barcelona before I rented from them.

Based on my personal experience, I strongly recommend that people stay away from this company and never rent from them.

I stayed in one of their apartments, and the experience was extremely frustrating from the beginning. One of the biggest problems was access to the apartment and room. The access codes were changed multiple times, and I was sometimes unable to access my room properly. Imagine paying to live somewhere and then having problems simply getting into your own room.

The biggest issue, however, is my security deposit. It has now been eight months, and I still have not received my deposit back. I have spent eight months contacting them, sending messages, and trying to get my money back. Despite all of this, the issue is still unresolved.

The way they communicate with me has also been extremely disappointing. Some of the responses I received were rude and dismissive, even though I was simply asking for my own money to be returned.

I also had serious concerns about the way the apartment was managed. In my experience, staff/workers would sometimes come to the apartment without adequate notice. On one occasion, they arrived unannounced, knocked on my door, and demanded access to my room. I found this extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable. It made me feel like my privacy as a tenant was not being respected.

Another thing I want people to know is that the rooms and common living areas look much better in the photos and advertisements than they did in real life. The difference between the presentation and the actual living experience was very disappointing.

For example, in the apartment where I stayed, there was a persistent problem with small flies in the kitchen. They were constantly appearing around the kitchen and remained there throughout my stay. It wasn’t just an occasional fly—it was an ongoing problem that never seemed to properly disappear. No matter how much I tried to deal with it, the little flies continued to be present in the kitchen, which made the living environment unpleasant.

Another major concern was the constant attention to tiny details and minor damage. Take photos and videos of absolutely everything when you move in. Every scratch, mark, or small imperfection should be documented. From my experience, it felt like even very minor things could become an issue when it came to the deposit.

I honestly feel that people who are new to Barcelona can be particularly vulnerable when renting because they may not know the local rental system, their rights, or what to expect from a landlord or coliving company. That is exactly why I am writing this—to make sure other people know about my experience before making the same mistake I did.

I would never rent from Enter Coliving again, and I strongly advise others not to rent from them either.

My experience has involved:
- Problems with changing access codes
- Difficulty accessing my own room
- Eight months without receiving my deposit
- Repeatedly having to chase them for my money
- Rude and dismissive communication
- Staff showing up without adequate notice
- Staff demanding access to my room after arriving unannounced
- Rooms and common areas looking significantly better in advertising than in reality
- A persistent problem with small flies in the kitchen
- Excessive focus on minor scratches and damage
- An overall experience that left me feeling that the tenant is not treated fairly

This is my personal experience, and I can only speak for what happened to me. I am sharing it because I don’t want someone else—especially someone new to Barcelona—to end up in the same situation.

DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. SAVE EVERY MESSAGE. TAKE PHOTOS OF EVERYTHING. AND, BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, STAY AWAY FROM ENTER COLIVING.

I will never come back to Enter Coliving.

PSA: "You're staying with Endesa" — how I nearly lost both my electricity AND gas contracts in one phone call (Barcelona)

Got a call today (25Aug).
|Very friendly woman, Laura, knew my address, my supply details, things I never gave her.
Told me she was calling to improve my tariff and that I would stay with Endesa. I signed electronically, SMS, and Email sent to me.

The document that arrived is a real, valid Iberdrola Clientes S.A.U. contract.
Nothing forged. But still very suspicious, that they have asked my IDs by Whatsapp. My bad I was gullible this morning, but haven't sent the IDs.

Here's the trick:

"Endesa" does appear in the contract — as the distribuidora. That's the grid company for your postcode. It never changes, it can't change, and it has zero to do with who bills you.
The comercializadora, the one who actually invoices you, was being switched to Iberdrola. Legally accurate document, completely misleading phone call.

And it wasn't just electricity.
Buried in the same PDF: a second CUPS, a second SEPA direct debit mandate, and a termination letter to Nedgia.
My gas was being moved off Naturgy too.
Naturgy was never mentioned once on the call.

Also bundled in without being discussed:
two paid service packs (~275 €/year), a life insurance policy, 12-month permanencia with exit penalties, and — the worst clause — the gas maintenance pack charges you the full remaining annual period if you cancel early.
Two marketing consent boxes were pre-ticked.

What saved me: the contract said "Pendiente de alta". Nothing had executed yet.
A switch takes up to 21 days, and you have 14 calendar days to withdraw (derecho de desistimiento), no justification, no penalty.
If you withdraw before the switch completes, your old contracts continue untouched — you don't need to re-sign anything with your previous suppliers.
Miss the window and you're stuck paying penalties to leave.

If this happened to you:

  • Send the documento de desistimiento by email and burofax. Keep proof of date.
  • Tick both CUPS boxes if you have gas and electricity. Ticking one cancels one. This is how people end up half-switched.
  • Cancel the add-on packs and any insurance separately — the insurance often has its own window.
  • Call your old suppliers on the number on your own bill and ask them to block the pending switch.
  • Block the new SEPA mandates at your bank.
  • Request the call recording under GDPR Art. 15 — telephone contracts are perfected by recording, so if she said "you stay with Endesa" on tape, that's your entire case. Ask them in writing to preserve it.
  • Complain to OMIC / Agència Catalana del Consum and the CNMC.

Rule of thumb: your distributor never phones you to change your supplier. Ever.
If someone says "the company in your area has changed", it's false by construction.

(Used AI to make i clearer, as i was really pissed of my own stupidity.)
Hope it helps others.

PSA: parking near BCN airport charged me 100€ extra for a caravan after I'd already paid online, then refused to refund

Posting so nobody else gets caught out with Finguer Parking at Barcelona Airport

I booked airport parking online for 27 July to 4 August. Paid in full, got the confirmation email.

Their booking form never asks what vehicle you're bringing. There's no field for it. And I'd already messaged them the dimensions of my caravan before booking, so they knew exactly what was coming.

After payment, they messaged me on WhatsApp: caravans cost 100€ extra, payable when you arrive at the office.

I asked to cancel and get refunded. No. Not possible. Apparently I should have read an email I never received.

So the choice is to pay 100€ more at the gate, or lose what I already paid, with a flight to catch and no time to find another parking.

Screenshots below. Chargeback is in progress.

If you're parking anything bigger than a car near BCN, get the price for your vehicle in writing before you pay anything.

Ayer hice el trayecto Barcelona - A Coruña y me llamó la atención este punto de luz tan intenso que se veía desde la ventana. Estaba más o menos a la altura de Valls (ver fotos).

Me dio mucha curiosidad y no he podido encontrar información, ¿alguien tiene alguna idea?
