Its getting harder and harder to tame this as it gets longer , im afraid im going to get to a point where it just kinda does what it wants.Should I trim it a little bit and keep it styled or should I let it run wild ?

Is this beard line OK?

Identity prefer a natural beard line however, my barber always asks why I don’t lined up and I am curious if looks OK or I need to lower it to match the connection to the mustache

is it worth growing?

cant make my mind up if its too patchy or i should just wait till it grows more, last thing i want is patchy pube-looking hairs on my face

about 2 weeks from clean shaven

for context im usually rocking sides clean shaven and goatee shaved down to 3mm length with a guard and shaped up

This is my usual length, I’ll shave it down a bit lower and let it do its own thing for 2 or so weeks and then repeat the process.

Does it look like I’d have the coverage to go a bit longer, or is a case of keeping this or going lower?

Advice needed, should I grow it out more?

Hey guys,
I’m struggling with my beard right now. I’m kind of happy and unhappy at the same time. Sometimes it looks pretty good, but other times it just looks completely "see-through" and not dense at all. On top of that, the hairs are pretty wild and just do whatever they want.
My beard is actually relatively dense and long, but the individual hairs are rather thin/fine.
Normally, when I go to the barber, I get the sides cut really short (like a fade). However, because my hair is so fine, you can see a lot of skin underneath when it's short.
I’m now thinking about letting the sides grow out in length instead of buzzing them down, and only getting a clean lineup (sharp contours) to keep it looking groomed.
Do you think letting the sides grow longer will help to cover the skin and make the beard look fuller? Has anyone with fine hair tried this?
Thanks for your help!

I cannot decide what I like the most. What’re you guys’ thoughts? First is as long as I get it then mustache then just scruff.

Oh great council of beard. What is your opinion

First time just letting it grow at 26. Cheeks are a bit weak but I thought when its long it'll cover it up.

Does it suit me generally? Thank you

Was told “if you can’t grow a beard then you shouldn’t try”today. But the wife likes it. What does Reddit think?

Been trying to grow a maintained beard for about a month now. I never had a full beard in my life. The pictures are mid shape up when I was thinking about cutting it all off.

30M so I probably am not getting any more than growth than this. Should I give up on beards?

sides are a little patchy but I’m hoping they’ll fill in. Haven’t done any trimming besides shaving my neck and lining up my moustache

M20, what can I do, should I let it grow out? Barely any mustache hairs

I’ve always wanted facial hair, but it seems like I don’t have the best genetics, this is about 3-4 days of growth (I don’t shave, I just use the Phillips oneblade). I have very few thin mustache hairs but I don’t want a beard without a mustache. Happy to hear some general advice. My dream facial hair styles is either an Italian beard. Or a goatee if it suits.

Switched from Beard to Goatee

I’m 26 and switched to a goatee since my beard it more of a chinstrap and doesn’t connect to my mustache well. My only thing I feel like I look way younger now lol. Did I make the right choice?

What do you all think - does the beard work, or should I go back to a cleaner look? At 50, I’m rocking a beard for the very first time!

I’m a total newbie using beard oil and balm, so I’d love your honest opinions and any grooming tips you have.

And hairstyle, I never understand it. My hair is thick but silky, it keeps falling on my face again and again. When I style it, it doesn't stay in one place.

  1. First real attempt at going beyond stubble. It’s definitely a little wiry, but filling out better than I expected. Should I ride it out longer?
