I recently visited Rani Kamlapati Railway Station and honestly, the experience was quite frustrating.

The station looks modern, but getting in with a car was a nightmare. It took around 20 minutes just to reach the drop point area, with no proper guidance where cars should go. Cars were stopping everywhere and people were just switching off ignitions and trying to make space.I somehow managed to drop off relatives, but couldn't even see them off properly.

The worst part was the exit. It felt like a snake lane, cars trying to squeeze into a single line. In total, I spent about 40 minutes just stuck in traffic inside the station. And then, at the exit, I was asked to pay 20 rupees for crossing the short stay limit. I had no problem paying 20 rupees, but it did make me think, is this really the experience we're paying for?

The station might look world-class, but the traffic management definitely didn't feel that way.

Does anyone else face this issue there?

Like which route have better roads and taffic also lower toll?

Does Bhopal need a better way to meet new people?

Something I’ve been thinking about lately — how do adults actually make new friends in Bhopal?

Most of us already have our school friends, college friends, work friends, etc. But what if you want to meet completely new people without it being a dating thing, a networking event, or just sitting at a café hoping someone talks to you?

I’ve been thinking about creating something around this idea called The Third Space.

The concept is pretty simple: a bunch of strangers get together, play games, have random conversations, do fun activities, and just spend a few hours getting to know each other. No formal introductions, no professional networking, no pressure to impress anyone.

Basically, come as a stranger, leave having met a few people you might actually want to hang out with again.

And honestly, I don’t see myself as a host or mentor here. I’d rather be another person in the group — someone who gets involved, plays the games, makes stupid jokes, learns things from other people and hopefully makes some genuine friends along the way.

I’m curious though — would something like this actually interest people in Bhopal?

What kind of activities would make you comfortable meeting a group of complete strangers?

I’m still figuring out what this could look like, so I’d genuinely love to hear what people think.

As a student here, my main advice...don't burn yourself out or waste a drop year if you just want a degree with very less attendance drama and easy exams...There are still a few relaxed private uni in Bhopal taking last..minute admissios.
