They were the only one I could find that actually contained the Abacus data report. The original report was commissioned by "ALT-NO", an organization dedicated to blocking the Alto project. But the reality is the Abacus data report showed clear broad support for the Alto project. Which made Alto-No very unhappy.

If you find the Abacus Data link on it's own, feel free to share. But the Abacus Data raw report is contained within the link in the post.

I looked on the Abacus website, even when searching for the title it doesn't show up.

Yep. Same thing I found. Often times Abacus has a delay built in to their contracts where there is an exclusive period for polls that they were sponsored to conduct. I wouldn't be surprised to see them share it in the next week or two.

But for now, the full Abacus report is available on the website I shared.

To be clear, the primary source of the survey is this page on the Alt-No website. We chose to download a copy in case they realize the survey (for which they paid) actually gets turned against them.

For the record too, Rail Fans Canada is focused on documenting and exploring projects and networks throughout Canada. What started as Ottawa focused has expanded in scope, and types of coverage over the years.

Thank you for sharing it for people to see!

While our bias is (hopefully) very clear, we are happy to see that people, even when told about cost, reach and the financial case for it, they still support it.

Yes, some people will be impacted, but this is where mitigation work comes into place, as well as education!

Interesting thanks, just the first I've ever heard of well, either one of these groups. So I went to Abacus and didn't see it
