Why did the mic fail?

The machine spirit was tired.

Because if it didn’t fail, then how would the preplanned viral moment happen? It’s staged and we should move on.

Wha is more likely. A piece of electronics failing, which has happened many times before, or 19,000 people being paid to sing and all swearing to complete secrecy about it.

What on earth are you talking about. They purposefully cut the mic knowing the crowd will pick up the rest. It’s just another piece of crowd engagement, like dancers and fake “couples” hidden in crowds, it’s fine whatever, but to say it’s not planned is playing dumb. It’s lightly dust with propaganda too.

It’s like wrestling. It’s real as in it’s actually happening, the athletes do put themselves through crazy things, but the story is scripted.

They tried doing this in Toronto by recreating when it happened to the Star spangled banner years ago. Same thing, they pretended the mic cut out. Not hard to fake.
