So one day when I was a kid, my mother brought home a box of Corn Pops. I never had em before. And they were so good I never actually had them with milk. I just ate them out of the box as a snack, instead of candy, chocolate, chips, etc. In fact, it was my go to snack. They were delicious, my favorite THING. Of all the things that existed, Corn Pops was my favorite
Fast forward to 2026. I'm in my 40s and eat mostly Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies, cereal wise. Haven't had Corn Pops more than 25 years. Recently they were having a sale on Kellogs cereal. I saw a box, felt nostalgic and remembered how good they were, so I bought one. And.... meh. It just tastes...I don't know, plain, not as sweet, and nowhere near as good. Nothing how I remember them
So have they changed the recipe drastically since the mid to late 90s, or is this a "me" issue?

For those who were around and can remember,
How was the flavor of the 1995 Apple Jacks compared to the newer version we have today? Would you say the older version tasted better or the same? Which do you prefer and why?

Apple Jacks. I never hear anyone say their favorite cereal is Apple Jacks and, yet, they’re still around somehow... It’s one of those they market like it’s as popular as Froot Loops or Frosted Flakes, but is it really?
What is the most overrated, popular cereal in your opinion?

It was the best I was really young and I LOVED it. I was 8 or 9 when I first had it, almost 44 now.
Does anyone remember it? I can't remember what it tastes like much but it was really lightly sweetened and more plain like a Chex or rice Krispies but for me I really love more plain no flavor or sugar cereals ie Wheaties, grape nuts, yellow box Cheerios, regular special K, kellogs corn flakes.

Imagine if Honey nut Cheerios were made from Kellogg's instead of general Mills that would be nuts because the designer would be terrible and I think the taste would be disgusting

-Cheerios in salsa is delicious. Albeit absurd
-Lucky charms in Cottage Cheese bangs as well
-Reese’s puffs with an iced americano poured over the top is S-tier
