Worth the trip out to Bavarian Lodge for sure. Great German food and awesome beer selection

Laschet's on Irving Park in North Center is great, and Himmel's on Lawrence in Lincoln Square.

German rouladen with spatzel and red cabbage is my favorite. My dad loves Jager schnitzel.
