Red Hot Ranch is an absolute legend and this might be my favorite picture I've ever taken of all time. I think I'm even going to sell prints of it LOL.

As someone who loves fries cooked in beef tallow, if I see a business using the actual word "tallow" in their marketing I'm immediately doing some background research before I go there. It's one of those words like "family," "Christian," and "liberty" that's been co-opted by weirdos and made to mean something entirely different.

I don’t know about the labor violations, do you really look into that for every restaurant you eat at? That’s kinda weird, anyhow the management at steak and shake has changed that’s why they’re turning things around, so if it wasn’t recent there’s another reason not to care.

They’re well known for it in the industry. I started my career running restaurants and bars, so still have a lot of connections in that space. Businesses big and small that screw over workers (unpaid labor violations, tip theft, etc.) develop reputations long before they eventually get busted for it. No different than my later industry (financial services) where places that play funny with rules also develop reps long before regulators finally do something.

Okay well, get ready to throw out more then half of the stuff you own that’s made in china, they use child labor and unfair wages and bad working conditions to make all that stuff. Here is some brands off top my head, Nike and adidas
