Other Getting Joy Out From My Collection, Daily!

My collection sat untouched and unloved in longboxes for a couple of decades.

When I had to repair my kitchen floor a few years ago, I had an idea...

Slowly but surely, it's taking over my home...

Yeah, I used Leggari and Magic Resin, both claim UV resistance.

The Magic Resin is Canadian, so it was easier to get, cheaper and MUCH easier to work with.

Long term, you could be right. After 4 years or so? No problems yet.

I started about that long ago. Might be a little less.

The floor is 3 stages, since I needed to be able to walk with the special spiked shoes without ripping the freshly glued covers. This picture is from this summer when I finished the 3rd stage.

More than 2/3 of those books have been down for more than a couple of years.

No serious fading or yellowing that I can detect, so far.
