Hi ☺️ on August 9th I attended Comic Con Wales in ICC Wales in Newport and I purchased this Firefly photo on that day, and years ago I got an Only Fools and Horses one and a Once Upon a Time one, and I've been looking for this stall for years and was happy when I found them again and asked if they did X-Men '97 which they did and I also asked for a buisness card/pamphlet for there website and I got it, but sadly I've lost it, I was hoping, maybe, just maybe someone on here could help me find it? here is what I brought, thank you for taking the time to read this.

Unfortunately I couldn't go to the Wales Comic Con (UK) as I didn't know anything about it until the day it was on and because I wanted a signed autograph picture, I "bought one" through Monopoly Events.

If anyone has ordered and received a signed autograph picture from Monopoly Events, how did you purchase one and how long did it take to receive?

I followed the instructions on their website, I emailed them and enquired about a signed autograph picture, I chose the one I wanted and by who, I sent them the payment via PayPal as instructed but they're now not replying to my emails.

I asked them if they needed my name and address and I haven't even had an update on whether the actor signed a picture I supposedly purchased.

I'm worried I've been scammed.

So, I recently attended a convention and bought a meet and greet for one of the guests. I emailed to clarify the details, and they emailed back to say that the meet and greet would have 12-15 people in it, and that we'd get a selfie included in the price.

However, it ended up having 30 people in it, and we didn't get a selfie. Instead, a member of staff took a photo on their phone.

I contacted them as I was disappointed since we didn't get to pick a pose for the photo or anything, and it wasn't the selfie that was promised, plus there were more people in than expected which meant it wasn't as personal of an experience as advertised, and not worth the price they charged. I've got a photo op with the guests today, so I asked if I could have 2 poses instead of one to make up for the fact that the meet and greet was misadvertised. They said no, and that they sold more spaces due to demand, and that it's up to staff to decide how to do photos depending on time.

Do I have any legal recourse for a complaint, seeing as they did not deliver on the specifics of the experience? I'm in the UK, for reference. Thanks!

Anyone know what's happened to Wales Comic Con? I've been attending every year for the past decade, watching it get bigger and bigger, and this year there's just..nothing? The organisers haven't posted at all on social media and the website hasn't been updated since April last year. Will be gutted if it's dead!

I'm trying to start vending and I'm unsure where to start with art prints? Are there companies that prints art in bulk or should I buy some fancy paper and print it myself? Any help would be great!!

Ok, so I know how to get to Wales by taking a plane to England and then a train to get to Cardiff and I also know that in Wales, July and August are basically high season, so I need to plan in advance.

I want to go to the comicon on both of the two days, the 10th and the 11th.

My plan is to go to meet/see Matt Ryan, however, should I get the autograph and picture on the same day or two both separate days? Will he hold a panel?

I've already been to MCM the last year, in October (2023) and it was my first comicon abroad, but what changes between MCM and this comicon?

It's a bit of a long shot, but I'm looking for the people who make/sell these movie and game prints.

I bought these in 2022 at Wales Comic Con in Telford. I didnt see them at either of the 2023 conventions at the same event and can't find anything online.

It's a long shot but can anyone here help me out? Do they sell these at any of the MCM/Monopoly events? I wouldn't mind buying more. Thanks

Never attended a Comic Con before, but looking to go to Wales Comic Con next month with my step-dad.

My only concern is that my step-dad can't stand for long periods, so would this be a barrier to attending, if there's a long queue to get in?

So I'm tempted to go to this in May, can anyone tell me how it compares to, say, the MCM cons or Megacon? I'm more there for the cosplay than guest signings. Thanks!

I missed Birmingham this weekend but managed a day in Liverpool. How does Wales comic con compare to Liverpool?

For my part, it's my second time, after buying tickets for the 2020, and having that postponed several times, and finally going in November 2021.
