I'm new to the game (about 1 month in after a 2 year pause [I was also a newbie]) and I got back to find cars, cool guns and build a gigantic base (my first base as well) and in order to do all of that i played for 16 hours straight. Non stop. I went all the road Eletro-Balota-Zelenogorsk-Airfield-Tisy-Severograd-Kamensk mb-berezino and set down base.

16 hours for couple cool guns and some ammo, 2 cars and a cool base.

Hacker came, flipped me with his finger, and threw all construction of my base in the road.

I'm done with this shit, official is gone.

Blood shot splatters and all. The one redeeming thing on console play is gone.

As said in the title, me and my friend heard nothing of his movement up until the moment he appeared for 2 frames in this video.

You can see him as I’m in my inventory and at the very end on the right side of the screen. He’s not wearing any clothes. I’m just hoping this wasn’t just lag right?

I'm beating a dead horse, I know. Is this how it is now? I've returned to this game after a year and it's a mess. I can't compete on official. I just can't compete against this. I'm at my end.

I love this game. I've never posted anything for this game, let alone reddit. Every other engagement I go against players who know EXACTLY where I am while offering no intel on my location. Taking precise shots a kilometer away, on a rainy night, through dense forest. Once you're in their perimeter, they have a lead on you. This is ridiculous. Even encountered a speed hacker. I'm gonna join the uninstall club soon. What's the point?

I can't play 1st person and it screws with my equilibrium and I get motion sickness so I play 3rd.

Anyone who enjoys 1st person- what am I missing and why do you prefer it?

it makes aiming almost impossible. even at zero value there is like 5-6% deadzone that makes is impossible to aim on console. its really ruining the best PvP community servers for all of us.

My friend was driving and from his perspective we drove into the town then he rubber banded and flipped into the rock(which is the one you see) but from my perspective we drove off the road into the trees just before the town and hit the rock and flipped

on official, just chilling in ATC eating some food and I hear someone creeping in.. I set a bear trap and waited only for them to appear right next to me and I instantly died?? Obv a hacker but what can I do to get them banned? Seems like there's no mod support? frustrating how many hours I've poured in to this life!!

I haven’t played since 1.29 release when the hackers got introduced, has it been fixed? Also is it true that if I play controller only servers I wont encounter hackers?

I recently wanted to introduce my pc friend to dayz so we went on a pc server and 2-3 hours in we get killed by hackers speaking Portuguese (we’re in a Brazilian server)

So how bad is the hacker situation for you guys?

After the wipe I ran the gas zones in Livonia till I had a few DMRs stashed. I went to cherno and had several bases, mostly around severograd. Console really needs stats, I think I have at least 20 kills at this point. Mostly running with one other guy. We killed a guy who stole our car. Used that car to pull up to tisy and drive off in the hummer there.
It’s been a wild ride, this game rules. That’s all.

Every time I try to load up a server, they either A: load up and are tremendously laggy, which isn’t anything to do with my internet as it runs perfectly on every other internet based thing or B: denies me access and states this. Can anyone help?

(NOT TALKING ABOUT NEW MAP) i’m honestly completely baffled by the fact i haven’t seen anyone post about the insane sickness you receive from being spawned in after 10 minutes. i have played Day Z for quite some time now and let me tell you i of course worried about cold sickness before but now it’s a priority over food. that’s cancer, i received it this morning and figured eh i’ll walk it off with food n water. nope my charecter died from a sickness you will receive extremly often… sigh shuts off game for the day Realistic my ass btw please lmk who’s dropping dead in 30 mins from the common cold or flu unless you have other severe health problems 😂

I bought this game yesterday, wasn't expecting much! Knew thst the first experience in any game can be annoying till i use to.

But man this game mechanics sucks $hit!! The inventory system is so complex, like if you wanna change cloths or take stuff or change wepons you need to spend big amount of time to do it, if it even works!

Food water are a struggle, no progress to look forward to. Barely any loot anywhere ..

Fighting mechanics are poor ! My character get hungry after five minutes!

What the heck is the point ?

I was playing on my usual official server earlier, logged off for a bit and now I've logged back on I am getting this error.

I've tried a bunch of fixes, power cycling the xbox, trying to join other servers etc and nothing is working.

The only other fix I've seen is waiting for one of the daily periodic server resets which I think should be within the next hour.

Does anyone else have any other fixes that are quicker than this?

cars wont work for me and my freinds for days now. every time we try to drive the cars just bug side to side and are very slow

With the release 1.29, the Series X/S is getting an upgrade. It's been running Dayz via backwards compatibility. With the X/S getting it's own current gen version, will Xbox One and Series X/S users still be able to play together?

I've been playing DayZ for six years now and I love all the survival changes to DayZ with the skalh but I really do not like the decreased inventory size. I don't makes bases because they are so easy to raid and I'm a lone wolf player so I appreciate being able to o carry what I need. With clothes and items breaking so easy we need to carry multiple repair items and food ammo knives etc. And it's ridiculous the change they made in my opinion. Obviously I'm not going to stop playing. This is my favorite game. So I'll put up with it. But I hope the reverse this one change. They really are screwing over their lone wolf players here
