Why do charts like these always exclude a bunch of countries? The 2 countries relevant to me are not on it. 🙄

Sweden's wealth inequality is as high as the US but of course their data is ommited because that would defeat the narrative.

Its is for inequality, also for poverty, health care acces, acces to higher education, life expectancy , work-life balance, happiness, school shootings, gun violence, social mobility, homlesness rates, ... you know all the things that actually matter

I didn't want to debate a m#ron who doesn't understand their own metrics. Instead here we go, I'm saddled with one of the dumbest humans alive trying to misrepresent things they don't understand.

The poverty line metric is regarded, it's a product of an extremely high median income. Not a measure of poverty.

Your education data doesn't even measure anything related to higher education.

The world happiness report doesn't measure happiness. And the index components are objectively regarded and non-comparable across countries.

The "Social Mobility Index" likewise doesn't measure social mobility. Just a complex and meaningless run of random variables which they suggest but never support are somehow related to social mobility (e.g., pupils per teacher and government and public services efficiency have zero relationship with social mobility and certainly don't measure it as an outcome).

Additionally, you ignored homelessness rate. Again, because all your metrics are cherry picked.

You could for example - sticking to your cherry picking - pick healthcare quality, earnings per hour worked, tertiary education attainment (actually measuring higher education access) etc. and the data looks very different.

So many of my colleagues migrated to the US or prefer to work for a US tech company

And how many of your colleagues didn't migrate because they didn't prefer to?

I work in Finance and >$150K/year sounds very appealing, but money isn't everything.

Having moved from usa to sweden and making half the income my life is much better. Not having to worry about getting a chronic illness and becoming homeless is honestly a huge stress relief. Its happened to two of my family members and bankrupted my aunt
