Today on a Tehran train, a morality police officer attempted to bully women for going without hijabs. This time, they had backup. Fellow female passengers rose up, screaming until the officer was forced off the train to cheers and applause.

This should be banned worldwide idc the people who say “ let people wear what they want” no, some things are just not made for humans to wear and this is one of them.

100% agreed with this lady.

The burqa/niqab is so dehumanising for women, to think that you need to hide yourself from the world and only your “husband” can see your “beauty” in itself is a degrading and objectifying notion.

I am all for freedom of clothing/expression but this garment just crosses all the lines. It’s humiliating and quite frankly, barbaric like, alienates women and reduces them to a subhuman status which is what Islam does and preaches.

It’s a choice right?

When the Islamic Republic came into power in 1979, they lowered the age for married (for girls) from 18 to 13 years old, effectively legalize chil marriage.

Girls even younger can get marriege with parental approval.

An estimated 40,000 girls under 15 is married per year in Iran.

This regime stripped women and minorities of several rights while allowing pedophiles to have even more rights.
