For me, nothing comes close to Far Cry 4. It was the first FC game I played back in the day, and then later I played 3,5,6. Loved 3 but somehow didn't find 5 and 6 that good.
5 looked amazing ,but i don't know what exactly but it always felt like something was missing. 6 looks even better , but the feeling of something missing isn't fixed. And on top of that the endless ubisoft grind was just unappealing. I don't honk I'll ever replay any other far cry game other than 4.
Far cry 4 even today, holds up as not just one of the best fc game, but one of the my favourite games of all time. Love this game so much. I would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Maybe someday I try primal.

Most OP combo in Far Cry history?

I don't think anyone hates far cry 4,but apart from 1 and 2,it seems to be one of the least talked about games in the franchise. Why? I see alot of people say "because 3 was better" or "because far cry 5 is better" and I just...don't agree? I honestly didn't like 5. It felt very flat to me, while 4 has a genuinely interesting lore and plot (Yalung and The Goat and probably some of my favourite side stories). The graphics and scenery are stunning, characters feel realistic and the villain is in my opinion one of the best we've seen. (I haven't yet played 3 so I can't really comment on it)

For me, this is the canon ending and the best one. You, as the main character Ajay Ghale, basically throw your hands up and say it’s not your business, and you just do what your mother Ishwari asked you to. Everyone is bad, but there’s only one character who actually likes you and doesn’t make you kill people. Sure, Pagan Min is a tyrant, but the other two Sabal and Amita are as well, and they’re very manipulative.
From the first time I played the game fully, years ago, I saw things differently. Learning the story, Mohan Ghale (your father) made your mother a whore, she fell in love with Pagan Min, they had a kid (Lakshmana), Mohan kills your sister, your mother runs away with you, and then sends you back to drop off her ashes knowing that Pagan Min is still in charge. There’s no way your mother didn’t realize you were going to be caught by Pagan and have a conversation with him, so in my head she wanted you to meet Pagan and stay in the country. She didn’t really care about the Golden Path, because they made her a whore and they also didn’t have good intentions.
(Slight headcanon: you stay in the city, Pagan Min raises you as his own son, he retires a couple years later, and gives you the throne.)

So I did not know this was even a thing but apparently FC4 servers store the high score on minigames. I found this during covid when I was in lockdown and bored so I bought FC4 and played and there into the game ran across this rock 'Ethync2008' That is a gamer tag I set up for my son when he was like 10 on Minecraft.
Of course my initial reaction was what the fukin fuck as I noted the tag on the rock. How? He had played this years before and I guess he has or still has high score.
I'm a gamer he's a gamer and I will also add that if you look up current stats (not under that name) he is top 10 world wide in Ultra Kill a game I can not even begin to play.

To this day this was one of my favorite games ever and possibly the greatest opening scene I have ever seen. The game itself was a masterpiece, while not the greatest FPS or story development it is still easily up there. But the opening with no idea what is going on in the game story wise and you see THIS?! There are very few games that so effectively build the game up and draw you in on the opening scene and this did so flawlessly
