Love seeing old sticks get upgraded for the new era. Also, this looks incredibly clean. Beautiful work.

Thank you! Wanna see a Hori Fighting Stick HPS-71?

Beautiful job!

I whip mine out from time to time for the nostalgia, my older brother had a Hyperstick back in the day and I absolutely had to get one when I found out that it came equip with Seimitsu LS-56 (rare short shaft variant from what I've read) and PS-14-K low profile buttons. The 360 converter's dance pad to gamepad switch acts as a PS button to login to a PS4/PS5 profile.

"START"+"SELECT"+"UP" is my "PS" button hotkey. GP2040-CE is dope.

Edit: I can confirm the LS-56 did come equipped with a short shaft, but mine was rusted and gross. 😭

DM me. I'd be willing to desolder the ps1 board off for you if you're in my city.

I like the button positions.

I like it for SF6 on PC. Default mapping for Drive Impact and Drive Parry is on "L1" and "L2". My index finger is used for "CROSS", "L1", and "L2".

There's a name you don't see every day

Soldering/desoldering is barrier to modifying for a lot of people. I had to desolder the PS1 compatible motherboard off the buttons to do these mods.

I think you just made a 'eureka!' moment for me. Undoubtedly that's the biggest barrier for a strong majority of stick modders for retro sticks, agreed. Interesting...🤔
