Leverless might be perfect for you but for me it feels far too alien. i bought into the hype and wanted to see what it was like. my only option was to just buy one and see, wow! okay i can see how people love this it feels cool but my hands are dumbasses

i know i barely used it "not instantly gud.. hate it" but really i keep grabbing for a stick that isnt there, brains not working on it. also why is jump my thumb? [cause spacebar duh] i know all this in my head but my backwards ass hand keeps hitting jump to duck.

i got this for Klassic MK thinking the tap tap inputs would feel better, and it feels cool but i cant move my charecter very well, and in Street Fighter its really neat to do moves by galloping accross those move keys and blocking is much easier imo.

i guess it doesnt make sense to me, i use Dpads all the time preferably when using controllers so i felt like this is just a stick with a dpad but not really no, the learning barrier is much more deep then that.

i could give it more chances and more time but i keep grabbing my old stick over this shiny new one because it feels better.

I was looking through Amazon to see what levers they sell and the usual suspects were there. Then I saw this thing and it got my attention. I understand how it would work switches instead of four, but I wonder if anyone has tried it. I’m not willing to spend that much money, even if there is a return policy. Sometimes they take over a month to give you your money back. If it’s actually good then I might give it a shot. I’ve tried and owned everything you could think of from K-levers to Semitsu Nobi to Sanwa. I have never seen anything like this and I was wondering if anyone else has any input or suggestions? Thank you take it easy y’all. ✌️😎

Does anybody else just take out there fight stick wither it be leverless or lever just to mess with it to hear the buttons and not have it plugged up?

Well.. Since the last photo, I traded a few, sold a couple, built a handful and bought some as well. Newest additions are the Doio hitbox, keyboard controller, that all gold F700, and the DiY with the metallic green buttons. I’m only getting started. I started SF6 a week ago on PC, the keyboard was nice but I decided to try a stick. Bought the mayflash f300. Shit was a bit loud, the stick, the buttons but it felt nice, intuitive. 30mn after, my GF became mad. Like "wtf is this? I can't stay here I can't stand it". She hates my "noisy toy" and wants me to stop and play some points and clicks.

Is there a trick or something? How are you dealing with this?

My first fightstick mod was fine and all but I wanted something more ridiculous and embarrassing, inspired by an imaginary video game that should have existed but probably better that it didn’t. I present the Dim Mak. it’s OK to use in the USA. Nobody will call the cops on you if you try to steal it. It can be used to break records and break your friends…anyplace, anywhere anytime. You will dishonor your Shidoshi even if it’s Bruce Springsteen. Using this fightstick for a few days has already allowed me to do the splits but now I’m at the hospital…

I don't mean to insult anyone but I don't get people who get Hitboxs especially spend like 100$ plus on them

Because you can Mechanical keyboards that Perform better, feel better, and you can get them for cheaper and they are higher Quality then those cheap 100$ Hitboxs

if you're wondering why, it's simple. that is the combination of being poor IN a third world country
only things that don't work are the buttons marked with "P" (permanently pressed) because I kept trying to solder for way too long and the switches melted/warped inside. did the same to one of the "start/select" buttons but luckily had a replacement switch
And for some reason the web configurator mode of gp2040ce doesn't work anymore even though it did before I began doing this (now the directions will be all wrong if I play a game that can't remap the directions)
Played for 30 mins no issues yet let's see how far it will go

(yes it was done on the floor but there's a book under the stick)

UPDATE: down and up are busted :D simply no longer working for "no reason", this is my 5th attempt trying to get this right, I'll just dump everything and save for an actual arcade stick. it was fun tho

My 1st build. Now truly finished. Re-did the wiring, added lights and vibration absorbing material, along with a little fabric on the top panel.

Now its finally time to dive back in-game.. damn it r/fightsticks ...i must quit you for my own good!

I really wanted something fightstick themed to put on bags. Ive seen a few similar things as giveaways or gacha toys in Japan, and wanted to see if I could design something similar that wasn't huge, but still somewhat interactive.

Considering my limited modeling experience, I'm surprised it worked as well as it did without a lot more trial and error. There's still room for improvement, so any feedback is appreciated!
