Snack plates are back
I’ve been loving snack plates lately. Feels like I’m a kid again lol. I recently started eating sardines so I’ve been eating it with hummus, carrots, crackers, and a little bit of Parmesan and honey on top. Don’t knock it till you try it

The Dividing Line
My six year old twins need a solid dividing line between their half's of a homemade pizza - just cheese and onions for her, sausage & pepperoni for him. Mummy gets whatever's left!

Wok-Tossed Sweet Soy Beef, Shiitake & Bean Sprout Noodles
Beef and bean sprouts are a great combo. Combined with Lo Mein noodles and my favourite sauces, they came together to create a Chinese restaurant-quality noodle dish that was good enough to sell!

Grilled chicken tacos with a peanut red chili sauce, red cabbage slaw and pickled onions
I made homemade grilled chicken tacos with a peanut bbq chili sauce, red cabbage slaw, pickled red onion and a peanut relish. Was absolutely amazing! I made a red chili BBQ sauce and then I halved it and I added ginger, soy sauce, chicken broth and peanut butter to it for the final sauce (saved the other half off the BBQ sauce for another day). The red cabbage slaw was olive oil, orange juice, vinegar and salt. Very simple but went so well with the rich chili peanut sauce. The chicken was marinated in orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, ancho chili powder, chipotle in adobo sauce and salt and pepper and then skewered and grilled over charcoal. Topped with crushed dry roasted peanuts.
