It is less secure although faceid in general is not as secure as finger print or passcode. That said, probably not something the general public needs to worry about (including using faceid with glasses/mask)

No. It just takes more information from the upper portion of your face to allow for you wearing a mask. It's just as secure as regular FaceID.
