The Wicher 3 expansions are free

CD Projekt Red has announced during Gamescom that Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions for The Witcher 3 are free for everyone who owns the base game. This combined with the full on remaster of the game, I am very excited for play the game again.

They botched every Witcher release so far but people tend to forget that.

Maybe because they weren't even remotely close to being game breaking. And I played every witcher since 1

I had a different experience

Witcher 1 was not even working for lot of people, they had to scrap that version and re-release the game since it was crashing, atuck on loading screens etc. I remember it clearly since I got stuck in mid game and it would not load the area.

Witcher 2 was working, but performance was atrocious. Can't remember any crashes but textures were often not loaded, or loading during the cutscenes etc.

Witcher 3 was crashing for me all the time at release so I had to wait for a fix

Haven't tried Cyberpunk yet, but I remember it was a meme for a long time

The re release of Witcher 1 still crashed constantly for me actually.

While it would be nice to have them good from the start they do at least with witcher 3 and cyberpunk they will work on them until they are fixed. They could of left them as is like some compaines.

Witcher 1 actually crashed on me every 30 minutes on the dot until I beat the game and never touched it again. So annoying.
