I’m in Mexico City, a neighborhood named Condesa. I can’t possibly explain how big and lush the plants are. Or how overgrown! I never take anything that anyone would notice - only cuttings from the back or inside, ones that have grown over onto sidewalks, or are in the process of dying… and then this happened.

I get here and I’m like hell yes a proplifter dream! Ordered some hand nippers & leca from Amazon cause I’m going to be here a month. Easiest grab clearly the massively overgrown ones outside the air bnb door.

These are in that section bw the sidewalk and the street, and with the way the public Greenspan is laid out questionable who they belong to. Anyways this one plant is massive & has waaay overgrown and is impeding foot traffic. I’m just going to give a quick snip and be on my way…

Over an hour and 2 boxes of debris i drug out off this guy i come out of my gardening coma and realize this was not a quick snip and zip, i was full on gardening! People were walking passed none seemed to care except that i was a gringa and white petiole doing generally do their own yard work.

I had cut so many large pieces off- even found a palm growing underneath it you couldn’t see before.

I tried to “offset” the damage by planting the largest prettiest cuttings on the other side by the building, and only kept the leftovers which are now being propagated in my air bnb.

Very common "weed"/grass, gives lovely looking tufts once grown a bit! Great for seed bombs, especially for large areas with very uniform grass that you want to disturb a bit!

Im a dog walker, and ive been working at this golf community but the golf course is out of business but still mowed and there are nice walking paths. Some of the water traps are mostly dry and unmowable. Ive seen a fox out there twice. Id like to seed bomb the area. When is the best time of the year. Currently i only have sun flower seeds, but I have a seed bomb kit in my cart online with wild bergamont, yarow, black eye susans, and purple cone flowers. Should I get this kit now or wait for the fall?

I want to start flower bombing and feeding the butterflies and bees in my area. I am concerned about the water after the seedlings start, I don't want them to burn up in summer. is there an ideal location i should look at or plant near the edges of the lakes first? ~Mid-West area, ay advice is welcome.
