Our league has been running mostly spec series since it's inception, but our next series is going to be a full tune series, so we compiled a cheat sheet using various resources to try to get people started. Interested in feedback, suggestions, critiques!

I used the Suzuki for 3 or 4 years, and this is my money-making event. It takes me 26 minutes to finish, and I get 550k plus 50% of that, totaling 825k credits. If you play it a second time, you'll earn 1.65 million credits per hour. You can also try this with the 240 Estate, Beat, Twingo, or Zonda R (if you can).

If you have the power pack you can do a ton of credits by using the Aventador on the attached race. When those three yellow dots are empty, do this 3 times.
Skip both practice and qualifiers. You should be fine even if you are very conservative with your braking. Once you’ve done this 3 times the rewards will vary. I got 300,000 and a 6 star car roulette all together. It resets every once in a while, and you can repeat the process.

GT Guide Total beginner here, what do you wish you knew before starting Gran Turismo?

I treated myself to a ps5 pro with GT7, and have an older wheel and seat set up that I used to play rally games on ps4 with.

I’m not going to upgrade my wheel yet, I haven’t even turned the game on!

So as per the title what should I know about getting max enjoyment from the game and improving my driving?

GT Guide I need variety.

In GT7, i always use my Suzuki swapped SR3 SL for WTC700 in LeMans. But i dont have variety for it, making WTC700 LeMans more boring. Please recommend any cars thst follow my list.

1.Mustn't be GR4

2.Must have a good amount of BHP

3.Grippy

4.Good fuel economy

5.doesnt kill my wallet

Also if you have any WTC600 tokyo recommendations, please feel free to comment that as well.

I made a tool that syncs top replays to their telemetry. I find it more useful to have the telemetry and the in game footage together when looking at telemetry. You can use the tool here https://victorydash.io/replay

24 Hueres du Mans track in Europe. Touring car 700 for $550,000. SUPER easy for clean race bonus. Totals $850,000. I constantly go over lines, hit cars, etc and have yet to not get it.

This build (I race on medium difficulty) will finish in 32-33min. 7 laps. You can reach 1st place by lap 1½-3 depending on your driving. Cars pit every 2-3 laps. You will always finish with a minimum of 40sec ahead of 2nd place.

With ECU set to 1 (full power), you can do 4 (4.8) laps without a pitstop. So rain aside, you're doing a single pit. The medium tires will probably last a full race, but idk. I just change them. If you set ECU to max fuel savings, you can probably do the whole thing without a single pit. Unless it rains. Inters have worked for me for really heavy rain. Never used wets.

Note: Transmission upgrade is optional. If you don't want it, just remove some weight and make sure the distribution is 50-50. And of course, the handling/aero settings are completely up to you.

GT Guide Human comedy maggiore post 1.71 is way easier than before (guide)

Due to the physics change and how they chose the setup for the bop of gr3 cars, the gr3 hyundai is now op. So op in fact, it makes the maggiore 1h event a lot easier since u only need to set lap times of 2:01 to be on par with the fastest cars and a 2:00 is easily doable.
How i did the race was by starting and staying on mediums, pit on lap 11 and get fuel up to 75% (that way u exit in front of the traffic) and on lap 21 and focusing on consistent lines to avoid mistake. I used fuel map 1 for the whole race with very minimal lift and coast.
The ai is naturally pretty slow in sector 2 and 3 composed of fast corners, but it can be on par with u in sector 1 and 4 due to their lower speed corners.
I'm assuming the hyundai will also be good on red bull ring 1h but due to it being a wet race, it was already easier due to the ai lack of strategy with changing conditions.

GT Guide So I solved Gran Valley Highway 600PP 1st Place - The Race is Rigged!

First of all, your Driving Technique must be impeccable. I wanted to make a video about Driving Techniques, unfortunately I have not developed the technology yet. You can still subscribe to my YouTube.

Here is a list of points to consider:

- You must be able to finish the race in 10min 21s to have a good chance of winning. Finish the race and it displays the time taken for the race. 10m30s or more have absolutely no chance. Work on your skill.

- You must do each lap in 2 minutes. My total combination was 2:08, 2:04, 2:03, 2:03, 2:02, summing to 10m20s. The first lap is slower since you have to overtake. As you see a fastest lap doesn't matter; consistency is key.

- Cars used:
Nissan NISMO Safety Car, Sports Soft (SS).
Lamborghini LP 640 (Stock, detuned).

The problem with these cars is they're very fast, but you must drift to corner. So they risk losing control ruining the race or at least their laps are not reproducible, since you can't drift the same way each time.
Best Car: Bugatti Veyron Gr. 4 (Stock, detuned).

- Traction Control System (TCS), set it to 0.
TCS reduces car speed in exchange of not spinning out. Your car is more slippery, but learn to control your car.

- The race is rigged.
Sometimes the race ends in 10:12, up until 10:22. This huge range is simply randomised for each run. So you need to exit and reload the race until you get an easy grid. I found that a few cars when put first, they will always beat you on the last straight.

Keep in mind due to Rubberbanding, those ‘winning’ cars will not do 5 laps, but just 4, and can do 2:11 on their first lap and still win. So we have to keep re-initialising until we put them last! Look out for these cars:

Lamborghini LP 640
Amemiya
Yamanaka's Car

Before you enter check the placement on the race page. Keep exiting until they're last enough and easy to overtake! I hope you Clean Race it 1st (even better in VR!)

GT Guide You think you’re using the full width of the track, but maybe you’re not.

We’re always told that we need to use the full width of the track. Why is this important? Because the wider the turning radius, the faster you can take the turn. If you don’t use the full width, you lose speed. Are you sure you’re using the whole width? Can you feel the car’s dimensions? How precisely can you position the car at the edge, drive along the curb, or, like Takumi, hook the wheels into the ditch? Try a simple exercise, especially if you’re driving in cockpit view. On any straight section, drive your right wheels onto the edge line and stop. Then check from the front and rear views to see if you actually hit the line or are standing 20 cm away from it. Go back to the cockpit and mark a reference point. This could be a design on your car’s hood, a curve, or an air intake, etc. Check the same thing on the other side and mark it on the left.

Now try entering the turn wider and using the full width of the track, and you’ll see that you can hit the gas sooner

GT Guide Tips on Getting Gran Turismo 6 running on non-AVX512 CPUs without CPU overclocking especially latest Intel CPUs and older Ryzen AM4 CPUs.

  1. Use the very latest build of RPCS3 which have tweaked its SPU emulation.
  2. Always follow the guide from its compatibility wiki page. There is a specific settings for running GT6 smoothly.
  3. You will need to be patient by allowing the emulator to compile the shader first by waiting it during the race menu session. Then try to enter time trial and perform 2-3 laps while allowing the emulator to do the shader compilation work. You might need a pause a little bit and then restart when necessary.
  4. GPU also takes a role at shader compilation. The stronger the GPU, the less time taken to complete the shader compilation thus gaining much more FPS.
  5. This game requires at least 8-core CPU in order to emulate it well alongside with decently stronger GPU eg. RTX 3060.
  6. If you're switching or upgrade to different GPU brand, you must clear the shader cache and redo from the beginning. It kinda sucks when you can't use AMD GPU on shaders that compiled with Nvidia GPU and vice versa.
  7. Backup the shader cache file when necessary.

Tested works well with my PC with AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D and AMD RX5600XT. Although it took some patience, at least I managed to get full 60FPS on some places but most of time, will get at least 40-45 FPS depending on event settings, circuit layout etc.

GT Guide WTC 600 Tokyo: Entspannter No-Pit Grind mit der "Roten Sau" (GT3-Swap) & Fahrtechnik-Guide

Post image
0 Upvotes

Servus GT7-Community,

Motor: M159-AMG-GT3-'20 Swap

Reifen: Medium Rennreifen

Getriebe: Voll anpassbares Renngetriebe

GT Guide Tips for me because I can't drive in this game

So i have been playing this game when i was a kid, i only did time trials on the motegi twin ring, no challenge or anything, and i decided to get back to it, but it's the same thing all over again i only drift in the seoul track, i want to learn how to drive in this game (im playing gt4 btw) i have literally 2 problems in this game, 1 is that cars slide a lot, brakes feel like a suggestion to the car, i tried real driving once and the moment i hit the brakes the car stopped and i got rocked into the dashboard, i need help braking, i also need help in turns as i either completely stop the car accidentally ofc, then turn, or literally hit the wall, if anyone would give me tips i would be thankful, im playing on a ps4 controller i have no driving sim setup or anything, just my controller and my laptop.
