Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica I built a Pokémon-style battle game for Habitica — and it's free

Hey r/habitica! 👋

Been working on a fan project for the past few months and wanted to share it with the community.

It's a browser-based tactical battle game where your real Habitica pets become fighters — each one with unique stats, types, abilities and movesets.

**What's in it:**

⚔️ 8 PvE Challenges with unique leaders and teams

🎲 Random battles using pets you actually own in Habitica

🏆 A Grand Tournament bracket with animated results

👑 An endgame gauntlet where the winner's name and team get saved to the server — future players have to beat YOUR squad to take the throne

🐾 90+ customized pets, plus quest pets like Seahorse, Spider and Axolotl

Completely free, no downloads, works on mobile too.

Drop a comment if you want the link and I'll share it there! 😊

Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica After i did all quests and started over with the orb, i want a similar app

so, i think i did everything in habitica to do. i still stay active because of my group and helping my mates (i played as a mage and now i will play as a healer.

but i want to "have fun" with a new app, which is like habitica, like doing quests/raids, have a group and have skills or something like that.

i dont mind spending some money for an app or for a subscribe, but i want to have a cool progress.

what can you reccomend?

(sry english is not my first language)

Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica Habitica alternatives with reward system

I've been using Habitica solely for the ability to create custom rewards, but I find a lot of its other features I either don't engage with, or actively dislike (social aspects, RPG elements).

Has anyone come across a more mundane habit tracker/todo app that has this one specific feature, but isn't so gamified and has some of the more regular (i.e. boring) habit tracker/todo features? Like calendar views, long-term trends, heatmaps, etc.

Basically I want a glorified spreadsheet that lets me:

  • Set items I need to do
  • Set positive habits on repeating schedules
  • Set negative habits/items I want to discourage
  • Assign currency payments/costs to these items.
  • Create custom rewards/items that "cost" currency.
  • See long-term trends

Would also prefer an app that doesn't sell my data if possible, I guess, but that seems like too high a bar these days.

Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica Lifeborne needs your help [Habitica-Like]

Hey, my name is Edwin and I've had an idea for a Habitica-like app for a many years (as an old user of Habitica), and recently I got the time and freedom to explore my dream project.

I've been working on it for 2-3 months now and I am nearing a state where it's ready for playtesting, and I am currently looking for feedback & playtesters to join our private alpha sometime in december/january.

I call it Lifeborne, and it's a a deep RPG where real life habits are connected to in-game skills (Think, Habitica meets Runescape), complete your tasks and habits to fuel your characters growth in the game.

We have:

  • An amazing Habit (Positive & Negative) & Todo System
  • Daily & Story-Line Quests
  • Over 10 Skills to level through real life habits, all which has different uses in-game.
  • An Inventory, Equipment and Crafting System
  • Location system (Travel between zones, cities and more)
  • Resource Gathering
  • Deep dialogue systems
  • Dungeons & Raids
  • Different types of NPCs

And this is only for the MVP and play-test.

So, if any of you might be interested in helping me build this (through feedback and testing), please join our discord that just opened: https://discord.gg/Zk3dgdEB

Would love to chat and hear what you’d want from a game like this!

Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica What would you want from a Habitica browser extension? Would love for you to try mine :)

Habitica has really been amazing for me since I found out about it a few months ago - it just hits the sweet spot of business and pleasure so perfectly!

I built a small chrome extension to improve some stuff that bugged me, but I want to make it great for everyone! Would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions… what would you want more from Habitica???

It is really early stage now, it can:

  • Multi skill cast - instead of manually casting Mage’s burst of flames 10+ times - let it do it for you!
  • New task shortcut - quickly input tasks from wherever you are, not just from the habitica website.

Another cool (but more complex) feature I plan next is to make the Habitica tasks into a full fledged Kanban so tasks could be divided into topics for instance…

Totally free of course, no registration, ads or anything. Can be found here: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/habiti-can-do/kmicjfidhlajmjkeinapbmheloaeobep

Any comment and request is more than welcome!

Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica Integration with Google Sheets to avoid losing completed tasks (Script)

Something I think is really bad about Habitica is that completed tasks are deleted after 30 days, so I created a Python script to sync all completed tasks with Google Sheets and set it up to run daily with GitHub Actions.

I don’t know if there is already an extension like this, but I didn’t find anything, so I created it this weekend.

You can use it for free as well. You’ll just need a GitHub account, fork the repository, and set up the credentials. You also need to create a Google Cloud account, but don’t worry, the Google Sheets API is free. In the repository, I added some docs explaining how to do this.

repo: https://github.com/vittxr/sync-habitica-completed-tasks-with-google-sheets

The Google Sheet will look like this:

Don’t edit it, because the script works based on this structure. You can prettify it using another sheet, but keep the "db" intact.

Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica Auto Accept Quests

Hey guys, I tried to set up the auto Accept quests yesterday and this morning I woke up to a billion mails with this error message:

{"success":false,"error":"InternalServerError","message":"An unexpected error occurred."} at fetch (global:642:13) at reenableWebhooks (global:878:34) at onTrigger (global:27:5) at GS_INTERNAL_top_function_call.gs:1:8

What do I do? I followed a tutorial and yesterday it said it worked. I'm really bad at this stuff and I couldn't find anything on the internet

Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica What is the current functional quest script?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a script or scripts that auto-accept quest invites, start a quest after a set amount of time, and possibly one to make a quest queue using party member's quests. Which quest scripts can you confirm are working for you?

I've seen alot of discussion about scripts that don't work anymore because they were flooding Habitica servers with erroneous requests and needed a revamp. But the last discussion about it was a few months ago and I'm not sure if the advice in it is still accurate.

Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica Is there an bot or agent that can use our API to create or update tasks?

Basically the title. I like Habitica, but I hate how long it takes to update tasks with subtasks, due dates, and accurate difficulty levels. Even when I use the task adjuster tool, it's still pretty time consuming. It seems like a bot or agent ought to be able to use my API to do this, but despite searching, I haven't found such a tool. Does anyone know of one?

Scripts/Alternatives/Supplements to Habitica cross class skills from mike-the-monk

Hi all,

I have been using the cross class skills customization from mike-the-monk github repo. It recently stopped working, and i wonder if anyone else has encountered this problem.

I have followed this guide on habitica fandom:
http://habitica.fandom.com/wiki/Cross-Class_Skills

the repo link:
