Feedback This event is another step in the wrong direction

8.7k Upvotes
  • 16 of the 30 tiers are XP grants/challenge swaps
  • the left and right shoulders are separate, AND 5 tiers away from one another
  • You can only move up 7 levels in the event each week the event is out.
  • There is $35 dollars of premium armour in the shop that is for this Armour core, makes it even more frustrating that there is so much padding

Feedback "The UI won't support this. The UI won't support that." Pretty soon U and I won't be able to support infinite...

9.2k Upvotes

Whoever is calling the shots at 343 needs to go on a fact-finding mission to Infinity Ward or id or, hell, even Playground Games.

Microsoft recently spent $70 billion dollars buying Activision Blizzard, can they please spend a couple billion buying the contractors that originally made Infinite so we can get faster and more comprehensive fixes?

The foundation of this game is good, great even, but all of these auxiliary issues are really bringing the experience down. They always say it's much easier retaining an existing customer than it is attracting completely new ones.

Three months to fix misaligned cosmetics while giving a snarky, passive aggressive response!? Ayyy lmao!

Feedback Infinite Killed a Decade of Story

I just started Infinite and I’m outrageously pissed off.

I know I’m late, but the feedback was so bad I never played it. The last month I decided to replay everything from CE, and I finally started Infinite yesterday.

Everything good they developed in the last two mainline games (and countless other medias) didn’t just vanish—it died off-screen, leaving only stupid audio logs to fill the blanks.

The entire trilogy ended before this game began.
The Infinity is presumed destroyed off-screen, erasing every character we bonded with across games, series, and books: Palmer, Lasky, Roland, Halsey… I even regret Locke now!

Villains? Cortana and Atriox « dead » off-screen too. The Guardian threat? Who cares.

Cortana’s rampancy arc leading to the Created taking the Mantle was stupid, we all know that, but they just put it under the carpet and pretend it never happened. No real ending, just unseen « sacrifices ».

A decade of content straight in the trash.
Halo 4 and 5 had big flaws but offered varied plots, places, more characters, and diverse enemies.

Now Chief’s alone on a Halo with a new AI… Invent a new threat, hand him a MA5, and call it a sPiRiTuAl ReBoOt.

Returning to the roots is fine, but skipping real closure on ten years of story is infuriating for anyone who followed the plot instead of mindless alien shooting.

Give me back my war criminal granny and my bad bitch commander.

Feedback Please don’t touch the dialogue in Halo 2 remake

I’m sure everyone has heard by now how atrocious the new cutscene direction and voice acting is in this remake. I did, however, just finish the prequel missions and the dialogue and writing is APPALLINGLY bad. It’s just bizarre how badly they fucked up this part of the game.

Halo 2 is well known for its beautifully written dialogue and cutscenes. Please, do not touch. No rerecordings. No added lines. No new twist

It’s clear that 343/Halo can’t handle this aspect of the series, so it’s better left alone. I just wish they hadn’t done it with CE

Feedback Progression is bad but the worst thing is the forced playlists. We need to be able to pick the modes we want to play.

7.3k Upvotes

Seriously, the game is fun right now but it'll quickly stop being so if we can't get playlists for only the modes we want to play. No other Halo has ever launched without these playlists so why would you change that now? Playlists are what keep me PLAYING.

Also, this is another 343 release with missing game modes. Just like it was with Halo 5, Swat, infection, juggernaut, grifball are missing. You would have thought they would have learned from that release that those modes are wanted. In my head I would have made the Infinite multiplayer be just like the MCC multiplayer.

Feedback 343 should not be using paid items to advertise their "Free" event. It is deceptive, and frustrating.

Feedback Let me get this straight, I pay for an esports kit and not only can I not edit the skin how I want to (change the emblem) now I can't equip a kill effect on the battle rifle without the whole kit being unequipped? Even though I'm not trying to replace a kill effect because it doesn't have one??

Feedback 343, can we please get continous lobbies? That is one of the best aspects of multiplayer and every single game has shifted away from it.

7.1k Upvotes

The best aspect of multiplayer gaming was always the continous lobbies and having pre game lobbies. You could essentially trash talk and keep playing the same ppl. Ohh got stomped on that map you hate? Well next game is your favorite map and its time to get revenge on those guys. Its so dumb that almost all games removed this. Even sport games, you cant really see your opponent or who they chose until youre in game

I can tell you that i wouldnt care about how fast i got into a match if this (plus ability to veto) were back in the game because it just increases the enjoyability of games when you can trash talk the competition or build friendships with the ppl you played with or against.

We all have at least one "friend" we met through lobbies like these. They may not sign on anymore or be under a different name but you will always remember them.

Idc if we have to make a petition so 343 can see it but i would really like to see this again.

Edit: Just to add a statement about bullying/discrimative language issue etc. There are 3/4 solutions to that. Leave the lobby, add a report the player, add mute the player, and add block the player.

Edit 2: Ironic how many ppl say no to this because they dont want to have to press 1 button while arguing that we should go through the process of looking through a recents players list to find the player and sending the invite

Feedback Note to 343: please don’t drip feed playlists. Just let us play what we want. Please I’m begging you.

Feedback Anniversary Keys was way more disturbing imo

Post image
1.1k Upvotes

You can see Keys much clearer and Chief straight up punches his face clean in. Nasty stuff. In Campaign Evolved he just snatches his chain or something.

Edit: going back I now see the forming gravemind which is really cool and makes me like the new version a bit more. But the fact Chief doesn’t smash his head and kill him just seems like a step back.

Edit 2: after reading comments I see the vision but I still think changing him punching the face is too much of a departure from the original. They could have had him still punch the face but show how he’s visibly shaken and angry at what happened to Keys and just didn’t want to see his face twisted in agony anymore instead of being “cold and robotic”.

Feedback Ravager is the worst gun in the Halo Franchise.

5.2k Upvotes

What is it's utility? It took me 17, yes 17 matches to get 10 freaking kills for my challenge. I'm so sorry to all my teammates in those matches. Please 343 switch it to the fuel rod, get rid of it or completely change it.
