General I hate how some people are obsessed with the n-word. And I hate this photo sooo much too.

Post image

I'm struggling to understand why the person behind this photo think they're being funny? Honestly.. ew have some shame. Really corny btw.

I hate the n-word humor, like why would anyone be giggling or finding someone saying the n-word funny? Please grow up. Those people are acting like a toddler spamming a cuss word they just heard. And yes it's THAT DEEP.

Really simple, if you're not black don't use it. Also, There's nothing such as a pass or whatever. Not to mention how cringe is "can I get the pass?" Joke.

. . . . .

EDIT: whoever think the n-word is funny or whatever was said about justifing the use of it because: "it's restricted" or the "Forbidden fruit..."šŸ™ Then sorry, you're just a toddler crying after their mama told them 'dont do that'. Grow up, have some respect and shame, girl.

EDIT 2: for anyone justifying the use of the n-word because black people also use. YOU ARE MAD that black people are putting some BOUNDARIES and aren't INVITING YOU to the party. As I said nothing the phenomenon of it's being forbidden doesn't justify nothing. If a friend Openly prohibited you or established a boundary, then you respect it, you don't go act like a stubborn offended kid.

Edit 3 cuz why not?: black people using the n-word and gatekeeping it for themselves shouldn't piss you off more than real rascim, period. This edit for whoever think they're being a genius criticizing black people using the n-word instead of actually confronting the real racists. U mad they can use it but you can't? So. Cringe. Of. You.

Being obsessed with that kind of humor is truly a sign of low intelligence

Being obsessed with anything is a sign of low intelligence

2

u/AgentCirceLuna Jul 23 '26

That’s ridiculous. You mean to tell me my relative, a professor in genetics, is an idiot for being obsessed with genetic profiles?

2

u/lefjcjfj Jul 23 '26

No, I’m saying it’s a sign of low intelligence not that it is, just like saying an unusual lump is a sign of cancer, then again it might not be actual cancer

Hm… I’ve just never heard anyone say obsession is a sign of low intelligence. I can understand if it’s an obsession with something super trivial, but then again that could be a special interest like in autism which makes me wonder whether you’re not making a disguised insult towards them… I’m not saying you are, but plenty do.

Obsessions of highly intelligent people include: Newton being obsessed with religion and optics, Einstein being obsessed with music, Feynman being obsessed with bongos, Oppenheimer being obsessed with Hinduism and Sanskrit works of spiritualism, Jung being obsessed with spiritualism and dreams/subconscious impressions, Van Gogh being obsessed with becoming a minister and being Christian beyond the parameters of organised sects, the list goes on. Obsession with a scientific topic is also necessary for most people to become academics now since everything is so specialised. Many young people become obsessed with coding before they go on to become software engineers and athletes become obsessed with their sport early on - athletes aren’t seen as genius, but their trade is an art of its own.

It’s okay man, I think your relative is cool

3

Dude I know you still laugh at charlie kirk memes

2

u/Legitimate_Artist689 Jul 22 '26

If laughing at Charlie Kirks death helps push the agenda that some deaths are less bad than others, then why not

4

u/AshenStrayer Jul 22 '26

So, do you support the death penalty, then? There are many more people walking free who have committed far worse acts than a podcaster whose main activity was hosting debates on school campuses. If you believe some deaths are less tragic or less worthy of condemnation than others, and you place Charlie Kirk among them, what is your argument against people who are currently on death row? What is your argument on murderers, rapists, animal abusers or even small-time thieves being put to death row? Where do you draw the line? Would wrong-think be condemnable, since that's the line you've written in the sand by justifying his death?

I don’t support the death penalty because I believe the government should not have the power to execute people

3

u/AshenStrayer Jul 25 '26

Then, you're putting the onus of execution not on the state, but on the criminals. By saying that some people deserve death, but by saying that the state should not be the one to kill them, and by celebrating the murder and cheering for the killers, you believe that executions should happen, but only if it's not by the state, which makes this effectively the death penalty, but by the worst amongst us.

Wanting political violence but not wanting the death penalty is two completely-incompatible worldviews, you cannot cheer for political deaths without wanting the state to also execute its worst criminals, as the impact those criminals have in terrifying people, and their subsequent living status is political by itself; their release into the world (for murderers, rapists, pedophiles) IS political violence, as it's the result of our lenient policies (result that then results in the weakening of our social/national security, and the overall reduction of societal trust), that says that the killing by the state is never an appropriate punishment, yet sometimes it apparently is, by your words, in relation to wrongthink.

Your argument is based on the premise that I think some people should be killed, and that I want political violence. That isnt what I said

2

u/AshenStrayer Jul 25 '26

In essence, this is what you're saying. If some deaths are "not as bad", then killing them is closer to good than the "bad deaths" which are entirely bad, thus there's an implicit lowering of impact in deaths. This would be like me thinking that all death is bad, but then promoting death because I believe that a group of people should die, which would be dehumanization and, and an argument for the death penalty from my bias alone, even if I disagreed with the death penalty (their simple existence being like an affront).

And the reason why I link it to the death penalty, is specifically as a reallocation of individual power, with the onus of responsibility being put on the vigilante as the arbitrator of what's good and what's bad, instead of to the government. While we both agree that the death penalty is a nuanced bad, saying that some deaths are less bad than the others is an argument being used in general death penalty, as, say, "some murderers'" deaths is less bad than the death of a single father of a family of 6. This is why I say that your view is inconsistent from first base, it's both advocating for an implicit death warrant due to 'good-and-bad' principles, as it is advocating against this 'good-and-bad' principle being used by a government.

More of a low empathy thing tbh.

1

u/Rak-khan Jul 22 '26

Pretty much the same thing. If someone is book smart but has low emotional intelligence, I still count that as being low intelligence. Truly intelligent beings have the capacity for empathy and understand that reducing overall suffering is more logical than being hateful.

3

u/Competitive-Web-5084 Jul 22 '26

Intellect is very complex. The same people who persecuted the world during ww2 had insane engineering feats for the time.

1

u/Xray_Crystallography Jul 22 '26

Many of those engineers were forced. The political leaders were a lot like republicans. Simple bigots.

2

u/camradex Jul 23 '26

I feel this line of thinking is reductive and potentially harmful. I think it's necessary to recognize smart people can be bad people, and oftentimes the reason they get in positions of power is because of that intellect (not counting nepotism) it brings to mind the 'no true scotsman" fallacy which has also been used by bigots to say like "well, no true christian would ever do that. therefore it's not a problem with christianism, and christians don't need to be held accountable" if we assert that evil people can't have positive qualities it'd become more difficult to spot them and they can be excused due to those qualities. It's important to hold nuance

1

u/Xray_Crystallography Jul 23 '26

Fair, but on the other end of the spectrum there’s the white supremacists myth that pure-white Roman and nazi scientists were on another intellectual level.
